This was our second visit and we will definitely be back. Our only hiccup was the made service this time. On our second day, my husband was in the room when the maid arrived. I believe she misunderstood and thus we did not get the same service as on our first visit.

We had a great week at the hotel. All the employees were pleasant and very helpful. Service was top notch. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at "Nine Ten." There are many terrific places to eat within walking distance

My husband and I recently stayed in a partial ocean view room for 5 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable. Our partial view meant we were on the second floor right above the pool and could see a good piece of ocean through the buildings. This hotel is in quick walking distance of the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at the Grande Colonial. From the time we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms, we were early, yet one of our two rooms was already ready and waiting for us. We booked one ocean view king (for us) and one village view double (for our teenage girls) and the hotel made sure...

Had a beautiful experience at the Grande Colonial. Great location a short walk to the water. Walked down to see tons of seals and dolphins jumping! Also, walking distance to Von's supermarket where we picked up wine and cheese, fruit and other snacks. For $10 per night, was upgraded to a lovely large partial ocean view room. Huge bathroom with...

Dear SsdLongislandny: We couldn't have written a more perfect review. Call us biased but the adjectives you used to describe everything from the location, the accommodations, the amenities and the service were spot on! Classic. Beautiful. Lovely. Delicious. Plush. Gorgeous. Romantic. Thank you so much. Although I am indeed sorry that you lost those games of chess to your hubby....

We stayed at the Grand Colonial for 4 nights. It's a lovely historic hotel. We had 2 rooms on the 5th floor, which were very nice. Make sure you attend the happy hour and order from there 'bar menu' which is delicious. The hotel is in a great location.

Not really the view we wanted, so we should have spent a little extra. But very clean. Fantastic dining within a short walk. Good and accommodating service. We did not eat dinner at their own place, but did drop in for some fantastic appetizers wine and beer.
