What a great place right on the river. We flew in to Portland and drove down to see the redwoods, not really sure what to expect from this ancient B&B run by members of the original indian tribe. No A/C had us worried, as that...More
We stayed at the Requa Inn for 5 days. The place and people are lovely. We weren't able to enjoy ourselves fully because we found it very difficult to sleep. The building is historic and the walls are thin. The rooms are hot and there...More
We stayed 5 nights. The Requa Inn is a perfect "base" for visiting the Redwood National & State Parks -- it's located in the middle of the long north-south park layout. Breakfasts and dinners were great. Lots of history to the Inn, and the view...More

There are a few other options. A small local place is Woodland Villa Market. We had a good meal there. Also there is a restaurant beside the casino, Ibelieve is called Abalone. We loved the breakfasts at the Historic Rogue Inn but felt dinner options in the area were limited. Crescent City is another option. I hope this helps.
