Off the beaten path. Lots of charm. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. We stayed there 2 nights in room 14 which overlooks the lake. Very nice view. The room stayed very warm even though it was only in the 50's outside. Only a couple of the windows had shades, the other two had white sheer curtains that... More

We chose the Inn as it is well located for touring the redwoods parks, jet boating on the Klamath River and visiting the coast and we had read a rave review in the LA Times. It is definitely not a luxury building and the “historic” and “old” should be considered before booking a room as touch ups are needed all... More

Indeed a historic place and well worth a visit and stay. Very comfortable rooms and located on a famous fishing river. Communal dining means you will meet interesting people. Most of the rooms have stunning views across the Klamath River

Wife and I stayed 2 nights, one room 6, one room 14, both were cozy, 6 had a claw foot tub, 14 had more space and newer bath. Service was solid, easy going, staff was nice and helpful. Meals were very good, first night we had dinner at a table for 8, we were joined by 2 other couples and... More

Pros: The staff is fantastic as they will help you in any way they can. The place is very quaint with floors that are rolly pollly but that is part of the fun. Very out of the way and a fun place to stay. The breakfast was fantastic! Cons: The bathroom has the two faucet sink - cute but no... More

We recently spent three delightful nights in the Historic Requa Inn on the Klamath River, close to several locations in Redwood National Park. We loved the inn, were assisted by some of the nicest staff that one could ever hope to encounter, and had several fabulous meals with some very interesting people who spent time here. If you want a... More

We enjoyed the stay there but it is not for everyone. It is old and looks old! The rooms are nice but need help. Window screens won't hold in place, building needs a paint job, beds are VERY soft but good. If you are used to a medium or hard mattress this takes some getting used to. Service is good... More

My wife and I stopped at the Requa Inn after a long day of driving up the coast and visiting the Redwoods. The inn can be a little creepy at first as it is in a remote area and when we arrived it was overcast and fog was moving in but it was not anything less than wonderful. First, if... More

Oh wonderful! We love our Inn and we love people who love our Inn! Yes, hundred year old buildings off the main road can be slightly questionable- but once inside and looking out at the River and being snuggled in down comforters... so glad you slept well. Thank you for the nice review and the 5 stars! After a busy... More

CON: Owner - Jan. Two encounters with her. FIRST - when I approached her about breakfast and if I needed to settle anything (used a $10 credit voucher) after my meal and was welcomed with a curt and rushed tone. SECOND - checking out and asked for a print out of my statement for the remaining balance. I initially had... More

I stopped at the Inn after a day of coastal and Redwoods National Park sightseeing. For the area, it is a great place, but it lacks the friendliness and homey atmosphere of a typical bed and breakfast. The staff was efficient, but not too friendly. It seemed like the whole place is being run by outsiders who are not too... More

I am so sorry that you did not have a great experience at our Home - my husband is starting his 2nd round of Cancer treatments and so "the owners" are not around as much as they should be... I know that this also puts extra pressure on the staff.. so I deeply apologize for the lack of warmth -... More
