My husband and I stayed at the Historic Requa Inn as we visited the Pacific Northwest. It was an excellent choice. The hostess made us quite welcome. We had not ordered their family style dinner because we were unsure when we would arrive. When we arrived in time for dinner, they welcomed us without a reservation. The meal was delicious. Lovely hotel with much history. Out room had a small porch overlooking the Klamath River. We awake to our 49th anniversary and the breakfast staff gave us mimosas to have a toast.

Such a delightful inn with friendly, accommodating staff and scrumptious meals. The bed was pure luxury with 4 pillows, comforter and top notch mattress. The staff went out of their way and was very flexible with our unusual photography trip itinerary and schedule. Closeup viewing of the local Elk herds is a short trip by car.

We had an amazing time at the Requa Inn. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great view of the river. I highly recommend this spot for travelers to the area who want the warmth and comfort of home in the middle of a beautiful and remote Northern California river valley.

All the riverside rooms have lovely river views. Huge bed, a bit too soft, but everything clean. Some rooms have claw foot tubs, others showers. The walls are paper thin, but other guests are respectful. Our room, #10, was right at the top of the stairs so we could hear people coming and going. There was no dinner service the night we were there, so check to see if you need to take your own picnic. It is a wonderful place for a getaway. Go to the end of the road to the overlook and a hike to the point if you want. Keep your eyes open for the resident gray whales! Jan and everyone else were welcoming and helpful.
