We went with our family but bringing a large group would be perfect for this campground. Large campsites tucked into the trees..very rustic. Fun chicken coop, volleyball area, crochet area, path to river, large field for large family gatherings. Funny story: our daughter thought the snoring neighbor was a bear!

Stayed here one night. Staff is very nice and helpful, they guided us to our spot and helped guide us in. Came here with a 31 FT RV and a tow vehicle. The gravel site was pretty level and had full hookups. They don't give you a camp map, so I had no idea where the bathrooms/showers were nor could... More

Lovely camp ground with a friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We visited in June with our 3 boys under 5. We were uncomfortable backing in our rig because we are newbies at it and a staff member stepped right in, backing our trailer up in one clean swoop while chatting it up with... More

Booked last minute for camping over the 4th , so this was the only place available. Had to stay in the field and pay full price. Their reasoning for this is because there is a fire ring. However, the groups that got there before me set up around the two, so I did not have access to this. Ridiculous to... More

Traveling through to Portland OR and spent two nights here. Saturday nite BBQ was great, just BYOB. Very friendly staff, and decent sites. Very quite and nice that it is a few miles off the highway. Just a short walk to the river which the kids and dog loved. Would definitely come back, if we come up this way. 28ft... More

We stayed here for 8 days--& now wish we had planned for a longer visit. The full hook-up area sites were easy to get into (even tho only two or three were pull-thrus). We had no problems with our two large dogs--plenty of areas to walk them. And the Saturday night BBQ is not to be missed. All you can... More

Super friendly folks in a nice setting. This is right on the river, very pretty. A great location as a base to see the Redwoods area. Also Sat eve BBQ and entertainment if you want! They also sell their own Award Winning Smoked Salmon. Try it, you'll like it!

We spent a week here in early May in an rv and what a great experience! The people were very friendly and welcoming. And, the park is even more beautiful than the online pictures. Great location to travel the north coast of California and the beautiful redwoods. Would highly recommend and we definitely will be back!!'

The park has a tight entrance road. Sites are all backin, and relatively short. Only 30 amp. It's close to the Coastal Drive, a 1-way through some Redwoods, and along the coast, with overlooks along the way. Not paved, but a great drive. WiFi was average. Cable was good. No cell phone service for AT&T.

Stayed @ Kamp Klamath this last April for a week. Was not disappointed. Nice level site, fire pit, table, power and water. The showers were hot and bathrooms were very clean. We’ve been coming here for years, but what made this trip different was the hospitality! From the hand drawn map to our site (we came in pretty late), checking... More
