We only had a couple of problems. One was the free range chickens and keeping them away from out campsite. After five days and needing a shovel to clean up the poop and being told "well we can't potty train chickens" The owner did put a sign up to not let the chickens out. The other is they need to... If beautiful grounds, amazing food, friendly/diverse clientele, and out-of this-world customer service are details you like, Kamp Klamath is the spot for you! This wasn't just a campground; it was an experience of serenity. We're a traveling-show-business family from Texas (not those kind of Texans, I hope). We had been on the road for a couple of weeks and stumbled... More

Kamp was awesome we came with a 24 ft travel trailer and ask for full hook-ups. This camp is not on the 101 but is hidden in the woods. The camp site have large grassy areas for tent and dirt area for RVs. They have a volleyball area, kids playground, a ping pong table, a little garden, and many others.... More

We decided to stay here because of the warm bathrooms, showers, and other amenities. We ended up not using the showers because they were dirty and unkempt. The bathrooms were filthy - papery towels, toilet paper, and water on the floor. We were tent camping, and the tent sites are far less superior than those at the state parks. The... More

This park is gravel and dirt. Some sections are acceptable for motor homes and larger trailers and some places are suitable only for tents and very small pull trailers. The bad: Because of the gravel, dirt and grass landscaping, the sites get very dirty with cigarette butts and small bits of trash inadvertently left by departing guests. In my 3... More

Kamp Klamath is a great place to get away and enjoy the beauty of California. It is beautifully located on the Klamath river where it exits into the Pacific Ocean. It is right in the midst of the Redwood National Forest with access to great hiking, the beach, or the river. The campground hosts were very hospitable and the campground... More

I can only say – what a great campground! We were greeted upon entry with a laugh and treated like family from the start. We arrived on a Saturday, just in time for their an all you can eat salmon BBQ that the entire campground participated in. For $15 per person you had your choice of chicken or salmon, salad,... We went with our family but bringing a large group would be perfect for this campground. Large campsites tucked into the trees..very rustic. Fun chicken coop, volleyball area, crochet area, path to river, large field for large family gatherings. Funny story: our daughter thought the snoring neighbor was a bear!

Stayed here one night. Staff is very nice and helpful, they guided us to our spot and helped guide us in. Came here with a 31 FT RV and a tow vehicle. The gravel site was pretty level and had full hookups. They don't give you a camp map, so I had no idea where the bathrooms/showers were nor could... More

Lovely camp ground with a friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We visited in June with our 3 boys under 5. We were uncomfortable backing in our rig because we are newbies at it and a staff member stepped right in, backing our trailer up in one clean swoop while chatting it up with... More
