It's a nice clean room in central California. It is located right off the expressway and everything in King City is very close by. It's a good choice if you are planning to go to Pinnacles National Park. Be sure to try the Cork and Plough if you're in town.

I stayed here for about 10 days while in King City for work. I was a little skeptical about this place since it still has drive up rooms. However, the second floor has locking doors that you need to use a key card for. The room was your standard hotel room. The door has a deadbolt but no additional security measures so maybe one thing to consider adding. The bed was pretty comfortable, though the bed spread is a bit outdated. Bathroom looks to be newly remodeled but there is really no place to put toiletries since they have a pedestal sink. Decent size fridge. The A/C unit was pretty loud, which I guess was positive and negative. It made it hard to hear the TV but you didn’t really hear any highway noise. I liked the fact that I couldn’t hear my neighbors since I was sleeping during the day. I also didn’t hear housekeeping banging around while they cleaned which is often an issue at larger chain hotels. They do have a pool with a grill area but the pool itself was closed. Good location to the highway, there is a gas station, and a restaurant adjacent to the hotel. BK is across the street and the grocery stor is less than half a mile away. Overall if you are staying in King City this is probably one of the better options.

It is an old hotel which has been refurbished. Everything in my room appears to be new except the couch. It is clean but is hanging on on to the musty odor from when smoking was allowed. Recommend they keep the air/heat units on when no guests are in to help clean the air.

My GMC Sierra broke down in King City and I had to stay overnight. I chose Keefers because I had stayed there 7 years ago. Owner/manager and his wife were exceptionally helpful to me..mini-tooth brush and ride to car-repair locale. Motel is clean, secure. Keefers is a keeper! You won't go wrong staying at Keefers.

This unassuming hotel was better than expected. Clean room, comfortable beds and helpful staff - may have been the son of the owner/operator. We were initially worried as the confirmation email after booking via expedia said the check-in can close anytime. And sure enough when we called to say we'd be arriving later in the evening there was no answer! Worried more when we went to check-in and nobody was around. But if you ring the little bell, someone does appear and checks you in. So do not fret if you experience the same.

Trip advisor stated there were rooms available, 2 queen beds for $109. Upon arriving they said they only had a 2 queen bed room for $149. The guys working the front desk, was not friendly. He didn't care.

The room was large, clean, and quiet. Perfect location to do the East and West entrance to the Pinnacles National Park in two days.
The price was exceptional and service great!
My Friend left Her purse at the restaurant next door and Oscar, the front desk person , accompanied Her there to assist in locating it. It was retrieved all intact. Thank you Oscar for going the extra mile!

Clean, quiet and with a gas station and restaurant across the parking lot. Seconds from highway 101 but you would never know it.

My room had a comfortable king bed, large flat screen TV, microwave and dorm refrigerator.

The blackout curtains actually made the room dark.

We booked the King City hotel and found it to be quite nice. The room is simple but clean. Quiet with an adjoining restaurant (King Kora). Breakfast is noted but the portion of the small lobby allotted to that made me claustrophobic so we passed.

If you are coming through King City, this is your place to stay. We noticed there weren’t many choices in the city, so we picked Keefer’s Inn, and we’re so glad we did. The staff was very friendly at the front desk, and the room was very clean (exactly as pictured). We had a great experience and will definitely be back if we are in the area. We were going to Pinnacles national park the next day, and this was the perfect location for a quick stay for us. Thank you Keefer’s inn!
