The hotel's location is ideally located, along Gokuraku Street and within walking distance to the Hell Valley. Sengen Park (Geyser) is just next to the hotel's main entrance. Based on its pricing, the room size and amenities are considered appropriate. However, do take note that the shower cubicle is of air-plane toilet size. Free parking is provided at an open... More

We had a one night stay here. Room heater is unadjustable in which if heaty the only way is open the window. We had a strange feeling and felt uncomfortable when checked in to the room. At night, there was a sound outside the window which has annoyed our sleep for whole night. Buffet dinner and breakfast were the only... More

This hotel is located right across Dai-Ichi Takimoto Inn and in the picturesque, quaint Noboribetus town. It is also located at a convenient distance from Hell Valley. The hotel staff member we spoke to upon check-in and check-out is a man who is rather well-versed in English (and apparently in other languages), so that was a warm welcome. The interior... More

I had a pleasant stay at the Takimoto Inn, staff is very kind and English, though at different levels, is spoken. My room was comfortable, everything was working. The structure is indeed visibly run down, there is no denying that. The carpet in particular, both inside the room and in the corridors, looks horrible but I have realised, travelling thru... More

We booked this hotel because the Dai-chi Takimotokan was fully booked but wanted access to the amazing pools at the Dai-chi Onsen. So we already knew this was a less premium hotel but it is okay for one night. Old hotel with old lifts and helpful staff. The hotel is quiet/dark (restaurant closed etc.) after 9pm so just to bear... More

Young girl at the counter was relatively fluent in english and you could see that she was trying her best to communicate with us, as well as providing as much information to help us during our stay. Staff at the restaurant both during lunch and dinner were courteous and could communicate in english. Buffet-style dinner was a steal at 1080... More

Just staying for one night in end December 2015. Most of the time are out, so not much complain about the room. Go during the peak time of Japan, most shop/restaurants are close, the only restaurants in the hotel need to book early which we're not aware of , so end up buying instant noodles to fill the stomach.
