Oyado Kiyomizu-ya is a ryokan located in a nice little onsen town called Noboribetsu. There is only one bus that gets to Noboribetsu from Shin Chitose Airport and it makes only two trips a day. It will be best to buy the tickets early. The bus stop is just a minute walk from the ryokan in Noboribetsu. Both check-in and...

i really can't remember but whilst reviewing my old pictures of noboribetsu.. i came across these pictures of the ryokan i chose.. it must have been towards winter late fall.. but remembered waking up in the morning and there it was a beautiful sight of autumn wet orangy leaves.. from where i lay.. snuggled contented after a good night's sleep.....

A good ryokan hotel in Noboribetsu, price is a bit too expensive, dinner and breakfast included, taste is good, service is good, onset available, but not private, parking lot is opposite to the hotel.

1. The hotel staff will keep your shoe when you arrived the hotel. No walking around the hotel wearing shoe. There is slipper provided. 2. The indoor onsen feels old but decent but recommended to try their outdoor onsen! There is not many people staying in the hotel during our stay so the chances are you will be sharing the...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is a traditional ryokan but mmmm how can I explain when you been in others and the service in the other was complete the top of the top. Then I see that the service here was really good but not excellent. The check in is at 14:00 hrs and the check...

Very polite, friendly, traditional and welcoming. They speak English well and explain to you the onsen facility before bringing you to your room. Velet parking was provided. Although the facilities and furniture are a bit old, the view of the room is good. Good quality is guaranteed with reasonable price. Overall experience is good.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a night. It was a traditional ryokan and the customer service was top notch! I particularly would like to thanks the lady who looked after us during our stay. She delivered and laid out all our meals and made the bed (in Japanese style) for us. She didn't mind us to...

This is one hotel that makes we feel at home. The moment we step into the lobby we are greeted with smiles and bows from the reception staff. After we remove our boots for the slippers, a nice elderly lady in kimono would take them and place them in the shoe shelves. The room is very spacious. The tatami setting...

We booked 2 different types of rooms during our 1 night stay - 1 was a western Japanese style with 2 beds and the other a Japanese Tatami room. Rooms were spacious even with 2 adults and 3 kids in 1. Service was excellent during our stay. We had kaiseiki dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast included. They provided kids' meals...
