1. Location is suberb just across the road from the bus terminus. Don't be put off by the dull frontage and reception foyer. 2. Stayed in a good size traditional room that seems to be newly renovated, Clean, new and spacious toilet and bathroom. 3. Thoroughly enjoyed the in room traditional dinner - good quality dishes. 4. Buffet breakfast was good...

I arrived in Noboribetsu with two friends while travelling around japan. At the tourist information office they tell us the only availabke hotel is this one so we book a room. at first I got a hearth attack hearing the price, but then I have to say the experience was nice. It is a luxury hotel for japanese standard. We...

Clean and large room for 2 Persons with 2 set of bathrooms (albeit rather small). We had dinner in the room as part of the package. Good experience although the food is so so. Breakfast is much better. We also tried onsen, the on-site public bath. A must-do for all visitors! Large and clean facilities. Strongly recommended! The Hotel is...

The outside of the hotel did not look very attractive; old concrete block building. However, it was literally opposite the Noboribetsu onsen bus terminal location-wise so was very convenient. All the rooms here are traditional Japanese tatami-style. It is one of my favourite style of room when travelling in Japan so it really appealed to me. The toilet was very...

Check in time is 3pm but they allowed us to check in on arrival, about an hour early. Room was a traditional Japanese style with tatami mats and futon bedding. Room was well heated (very cold outside) but Windows could still be opened if you wanted a bit of temporary ventilation. Japanese style evening meal was served in the room....

We had a huge tatami-style room, but it looks a bit dated and worn-out. The onsen is the best we experienced during our Hokkaido trip with temperatures up to 42 degrees. There is a whole stretch of shopping street just outside the hotel, great for a walk before onsen..

Frankly, I thought the hotel was quite expensive. However, I change my mind afterward. The tatami room is big; the dinner set is awesome; the on-sen is superb (big, great quality of water). Would love to stay more than one night i booked for. Beyond that, it's located right opposite of the bus station, very convenient.

Stayed here for one night as part of tour package. We had a tatami style room which looks a bit dated and worn. Yukata (Japanese clothing for wearing to onsen) consisting of unisex shirt and trousers are provided in the room. You can wear this to the onsen. Visited the onsen and there are several pools ranging from 38 to...

Noboribetsu exists mostly for Japanese tourists coming to stay to enjoy the hottest onsens in Hokkaido (or so I was told). So, this one-street tourist town is packed with huge, concrete hotels of all shapes and sizes, most of which look, well, pretty dull and/or run down. The Hotel Yumoto looks a little better outside than some of the others,...

Very traditional tatami style room. Yuukata placed in every room for hotel guests. It's nice walking on the short shopping street near the hotel in Yuukata. A bit run down but that's what makes it even more traditional looking. However, room is spacious. Toilet's a bit old looking.
