The rooms and the pool are nice, F&B way below par and it is a very Chinese joint where lots of online gaming operators are housed. The distinct advantage is the location, it is near to the city centre and within walking distance to Ochheuteal Beach. Communication barrier can be an issue here.

Rooms are very spacious and the position of the hotel is really good. However they only concentrate on customers from Asia. In fact the breakfast was very poor, no western food at all, only noodles, soups and dumplings. People speak a really poor English: we phoned the reception because we couldn't open the safe and they put us on hold because the lady couldn't understand what I was saying. This hotel could have such a great potential but they should definetely try to offer a good service even for people from other countries!

I don't even know if this will pass screening but if it does readers will benefit. This hotel would get 5 stars all around-from the staff to the location of beach ( 5 min walk), to the room, to the restaurants around the area. You will find everything you need. No complaints at all. HOWEVER- they have a particular clientele that lets just say ABSOLUTLEY RUINS your stay. I'll leave it up to you to figure it out but lets just say they like to gamble and talk loud. I saw people spit in the pool area, blow their noses with NO tissue in the hallway, yell in the breakfast area, on and on. I even saw this young women doing her nails in the pool area! Are you kidding me? Absolutely the most filthy people out there bar non. Its because of this my experience was ruined. Upon checking out I mentioned this to the front desk and he understood my concern, mentioned to me that he constantly tries to keep them in line but they don't listen. It seems that this is a gambling area and it attracts certain countries (mainly one). Stayed there for 4 days and I think there was another couple other than us that were not from that country---we were definitely the minority. Such a shame because its a nice hotel but sorry unless they change their target clientele they are not going to see me again.

First off, unless you speak Khmer or Chinese, don't expect anyone at this hotel to understand a word you say. There will be sleepless Chinese gamblers sleeping in the lobby, letting their kids piss in the pool and drying their laundry on all of the balconies. The "casino" only has a few tables, and they are some random card game I have never heard of. The restaurant only has Chinese menus, and there's no proper bar, just a place to get drinks in the casino. Shockingly, the gym was pretty decent, even though all of the cardio machines are broken, and the gym is open air (it's 90+F every day). We booked a suite, which looked nice, but like most Chinese made things, was just a facade. The room was far too big for the one aircon unit, so it was always too hot. The sink in the wet bar was not actually attached to the counter tops. The lightswitches were everywhere and made no sense. Like a switch at the mirror at a vanity would turn on the light by the toilet in a bathroom on the other side of the room, while the switch outside the bathroom entrance would turn on a light in the entryway. Beyond that, Sihanoukville is just a dump. I feel for the travel blogger scam that portrays it as a sleepy beach town. Otres beach (15 min tuk tuk away) is a nice, chill beach town. The main beach, where this hotel is located, is chocked full of casino hotels and the Chinese tourists that come with them. There's a fairly large city right behind the beach, and the beach itself is disgusting a not a place most people would want to swim. I'd skip this hotel and Sihanoukville in general.

Very good rooms and service. Go for tooms 404, 405, 406, 407, 408 n 409 for sea views and balcony in passage. Staff is courteous. Most of them don't speak English, but whenever we had question they used find someone who can speak English. When we told them we are vegetarians, they served us veg fried rice without egg on our breakfast table. Overall good facilities and just across beach. Definitely recommended.
