We stayed here for 2 nights in a beautiful twin rooms of Sandy Clay Bungalow with a fresh view of the pool. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Hot and cold water was great. Highly recommend if you travel to Preah Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Cheers!
Definitely one of the only several livable places near to otres Beach. The cottages are lovely and spacious. And so is the pool. If u must visit sihanoukville, this is one of the good places to put up.. The breakfast though is a absolute letdown. There is a fixed menu and the quantity served is absolutely minimal. A bit pricey factoring in the surroundings and surely not value for money.
We arrived here pretty late and stayed here Only for a night. The room (nr14) seemed to be rushed during the building of the hotel. A lot of unfinished things in the room. See pictures. The refrigerator was not connected to the power so the «minibar» Didnt work. I saw a lot of stains on the Sheets so i were very glad i Brought my own pocket bedsheet and slik-bag. Otherwise there were a lot of mosquitos in the room, but the AC worked Nicely and the other facilities were Okey. At the breakfast it were clear that they Didnt Even try.. sugary coffee, the meal were probably made a couple hours before or Even the day before.
Ive been on so many place so far around the world, this is the first that one of my personal belongings disappeared, and the staff couldn’t do anything and provide any solutions to me, even the GM or the owner are not available to discuss about the situation. During my stay of 4 days, on my second day my AirPods has disappeared, I never get them out of the room because of the beach are and the sand everywhere... But no discussion possible, they did not believe me. The only option is that I brought my AirPods and lost it outside of the hotel. Very nice pictures online and unfortunately that is not reflect the real situations. Just take a glimpse at the swimming pool from a different point of view, and you will get it what you are about to face it during your stay. During a stay of 4 days, went to only single breakfast very not worth it and useless, way overpriced. Horrible room condition with the following issues: No TV signal, ok we are not there for the tv, but it could be appreciated to have signal2 bulb out 3 are out of serviceThe wall next to my are so dirty and plenty of some random holesSome electronic wires hanging outThe under bed are fully dustyBed and pillow sheets were not clean with some spots of something strangeThe fridge has strange smelly The main glassdoor of the bathroom was flawed and difficult to open/closeAll bathrooms were filled with water after any shower since there is no partition. Not practical at all to get a dry wcThe bloc of AC are just noisy fanAnd finally the room were with plenty of cracked walls. Even the front desk is on poor condition with several letters that are missing from the reception and did not answer on phone call from Hotels.com when ask them some investigation! The beach near the location is awful. The area is surrounded by garbage, rubbish. A real slum. Not to mention the noise of the works around the area all day long, and the bark of some dogs all night long.…
I think we were cat fished in a huge way. None of the photos of sihanoukville have been updated in the past 5 years. The place is a tip. Sandy Clay Bungalows was the nicest place I saw here. It was an oasis in amongst the trash. Next door was a construction site. The street is covered in rubbish. In fact the whole place is a construction site. Bought by the Chinese and a bunch of high rises left empty. It's sad that this place has turned into what it has. If you want to stay in Sihanoukville, stay here, otherwise get the boat over and stay at the Islands instead ....
