We originally planned a 4 night stay, but left after one night. We stayed in room 21 which is in desperate need of a renovation. Carpet was stained, furniture was missing and worn, bathroom door would not close, cracked tile in the bathroom, the shower head was clogged up causing a painful spray. Even though I don’t think the room was dirty it felt that way due to the condition of the room. The mattress also felt old and worn. Due to Covid as with many places services were lacking. The breakfast was a nice surprise. I would not recommend staying here.
This place is beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean and exceptionally large and the music system with the fireplace made the atmosphere so relaxing. Breakfast and mini picnic are wonderful! The staff were all professional, courteous, and so helpful. Definitely a great place to getaway and indulge yourself. Beautiful grounds.
This is a wonderful place to stay. We live within 30 minutes of the Kenwood Inn which makes it a great getaway for us. Delicious breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese included. Salt & Stone restaurant is 1/2 mile away and has great food and indoor and outdoor dining for lunch and dinner. We hiked at Sugarloaf State Park which is close by and came back to our beautiful room with wine and cheese waiting. Once COVID-19 is in the rearview mirror, the spa will open and we will be coming back for treatments.
I absolutely love everything about the magical place. The Room is gorgeous and the bed is super comfortable, Great breakfast and the welcoming wine and cheese plate is the best. The big hot pool and warm swimming pool is everything I ask for. Just perfect and amazing place, I feels like I am in Tuscany ;)
We were excited when we arrived at the old world beauty of this property. The vines climbing the Tuscan style resort made for a very european destination feel. The rooms are very spacious. We stayed in the Grand View King - 3rd floor (no elevators, but they will help with your luggage). Views of the vineyards across the way were gorgeous. The full moon was rising over those vineyards in the early evening making its spectacular appearance. Fire place, flat screen TV mounted above the FB, huge glass enclosed shower (with high water pressure). Jetted tub. Speakers in the wall either side of the bed and one over the jetted tub. Front balcony with a bistro table set. Upon our arrival, there was a bottle of wine in the fridge and a mini picnic tray (nuts, a couple of cheeses, apricots and 6-8 crackers). Due to Covid, the spa is closed. However, they have turned a couple of their massage rooms into poolside retreats. We rented one, right next to the pool. This has two nice lounge chairs, two sitting chairs, a fireplace, air conditioning, piped in music, wet bar, robe, slippers, mini fridge with sodas and water, bottle of sparkling wine and carafe of OJ along with a charcuterie tray. Doors and curtains close for a completely secluded private getaway, or open them up to enjoy the sun and the sound of the waterfall into the heated pool. The hot tub was also closed due to covid, but at the opposite end of the property is a warming pool. Large enough to safely social distance and yet, 104 degrees fahrenheit (and jets). Complimentary breakfast (not the greatest) delivered to your room at your predetermined time. The mattress wasn't the greatest, but it was ok considering the big picture. Very quiet location, peaceful and tranquil. Would definitely recommend this and we will be back!…
