Beautiful setting in wine country. Like most places they were short staffed but the employees there were friendly and helpful especially Victor. Rm 19 had old world charm but definitely needs an update. Bathroom floor had a major crack in the floor and the door was warped to the bathroom and hard to close. Rm 10 was lovely but the heater was loud. Rm 7 had been renovated and was perfect for our daughter and her young family. However, the front desk should have told us that the room next door was under construction because there was alot of hammering going on and our toddler granddaughter was trying to nap. We all had difficulty getting the nespresso coffee maker to work and serve a full cup of coffee. We had a lovely massage but it would’ve been nice to have an attendant and offer service for a beverage after our massage. We enjoyed the wine hour with the different wineries represented each day and the breakfast that was included. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included and the wine hour in the afternoon.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at the Kenwood for my wife's 40th birthday celebration. The staff was absolutely incredible. They made every effort to make our stay perfect. I cannot say enough about how helpful everyone was from top to bottom. The Inn is immaculate and, honestly, the photographs on the internet just do not do it justice. This is one of those rare occasions where you get way more than you anticipated in terms of the look, feel and comfort of the property. That is not to say that the pictures are not impressive. They are. However, the actual property is just bigger, more beautiful and well maintained than I could have ever imagined. The Inn was at capacity while we were there, yet it felt like it was at 15% capacity. There were no crowds, no waiting for anything, just peaceful people enjoying the property with us. The Inn is very close in proximity to a number of great vineyards and restaurants. We ate at Salt and Stone just up the street and it was amazing! We also did a tasting at Annadale Estate Winery (less than 3 miles away) and it was mind blowing! B.Wise's tasting room is also just a hop and a skip away. There was a nearby pub that was great and several in our group had a great meal at the Glenn Ellen Star (also nearby). There is ample parking, EV charging available, and many nearby trails to walk on. This is a very special place. It reminds me of the Old Edwards Inn over in Highlands, NC. If you've been there, then you will know what to expect. Just over the top. I cannot say enough good things. Feel free to email or message me for more information!

I have been waiting to write this review because I wanted all of it to soak in! This was my 40th bday trip and OMG, it was worth every penny! This place is so cute! The hidden gem of the Valley, you could blink and miss it but you are the one that is sorry! It was the most beautiful property I have ever stayed at! We got the Tuscany suite and it was just exceptional! The bed was so comfy I did not want to leave, but you must go check out the heated pool and hot tub. I loved the robes and slippers also plus the fire place! We had a cute balcony to watch out over the pool and ended up hanging out one night because the weather was so nice! Great little fire pits by the pool as well. Breakfast was also great, serving a chef special every day but also the normal stuff was all good. The wine and cheese hour was a special touch, they had different small wineries around the area sharing there stuff. But the service was outstanding!!! You could text anything you needed and boom they would come right away! I loved that feeling of being so valued! And speaking of that, I got a little bday card, some sweet treats and some sparkling wine when we we got there! Feeling special everywhere! Thank you Kenwood Inn for making me feel so great on a big bday! I cannot wait to come back and will be sharing the secret with all my friends.

This charming boutique hotel is one of our favorites! We are frequent visitors! The rooms are large and super cozy with the fireplace, plush robes, and comfortable bed + linens. We love the courtyard setting with heated pool, hot tub, fire pit and garden setting. It all feels very European. The spa is small but lovely (be sure to book in advance of your visit). The location is amazing and in close proximity to Sonoma Square with lots of shops and restaurants/bars, not to mention being surrounded by some amazing wineries. Kenwood Inn is so relaxing for a couple's getaway and does not disappoint. Great spot for a "girls weekend" too!

A little disappointed to say the least. While the grounds are beautiful and give you that old world experience, the rooms definitely need to be updated. The bed is good, linens nice but the attention to detail sorely lacking. Our experience could have been so much more in our Suite. Rugs, throw pillows, a bottle of wine with glasses, an orchid! When you walk into a room as cold as a tomb you expect more for your money. Bathroom is dated and has a jacuzzi tub which is so unhygienic and dated. Floors are freezing! I don’t mean to sound like a hotel snob but guests want that experience, especially when you pay the price for it. Checkout photo of tub below, I won’t be getting in that.

My husband took me to Kenwood Inn and Spa for my birthday. The staff made us feel welcomed throughout our visit. Our room was amazing - romantic, quiet, and cozy - everything to unwind and enjoy the weekend. The staff recommended several local restaurants and the two we visited were both outstanding. Kenwood was a great place to spend my birthday and I look forward to our next visit.

This trip was for my wife’s 60th birthday. I chose the most expensive suite based on its falsely advertised description as the most luxurious room in the Inn. When we entered what we were greeted with was far from that expectation: a child’s art project chandelier, shabby couch, pictures hung at the ceiling, wobbly cabinet and a TV positioned in front of the door, nowhere near a seating area. We walked into the second room to more of the same. A modern tub and nicely pressed sheets being in contrast to the shabbiness. The bed was pressed against the back wall with no headboard and the pillows against the cold window curtain and trim. There was also no TV in the sleeping area despite having a huge open wall and tons of empty space. During the day the room is very dark and opening blinds in the sleeping area reveals a less than desirable view to the work area. The shower had a broken handle and lime deposits on the shower head. I texted to have that fixed and they did send someone to try to fix it but had to patch it with a clamp until they got parts. The daily cookie service after our first night was hidden behind reception and available only when we asked. The cookies were good but the breakfast food was not. I texted several times asking to change rooms but was told there were no available rooms. However, during our stay I saw several smaller king sized rooms that were not occupied.

My wife and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We booked and prepaid for three nights but checked out after two. Every aspect of this hotel was sub-standard . Rooms require radical upgrading and the facility generally needs immediate renovation to bring it to 4*!standard. The breakfast was pathetic at best , served in a room with barely space for guests to sit or eat in a modicum of comfort. Worst Halloween Nightmare ever Cornelius

Charming and romantic Glen Ellen stay in wine country. The grounds of kenwood inn are delightful and sweet. It was chilly for the pool but it’s a great setup and they also have a huge hot tub area. Wine tasting included and breakfast buffet was good. Room were simple but sweet. Could use a slight update of bathroom but overall a wonderful experience. Definitely get dinner at Glen Ellen star if you can-reserve in advance.

It was amazing, if you're thinking about staying here, do it. Felt like a tuscan villa and the garden king with the balcony was worth every penny. Pool was great, fire place in the room was very romantic and the breakfast was very nice. Although it is pricey (as with most places in this area) would love to make it back again.
