We stayed here for a single night mainly because it's cheap and close to the June Lake Brewery. We arrived a little early but the room keys were pinned outside so we could get in. The room was large and comfortable, although the bed was a little soft for my liking. Having stayed in a lot of relatively cheap motels... More

The basics are all there, but this is not for you if you want sumptuous luxury. June Lake village is really nice and if you are using the June Lake Villager just for a stopover, I recommend you get there a little earlier than you originally planned so that you can explore a little.

We chose June Lake Villager as a convenient stop after visiting Yosemite and prior to tackling Death Valley and it was more than good enough to serve the purpose. The room was dated but it was very roomy and clean so no complaints here. The only thing was that the room was advertised with a BBQ which it has, but... More

Perfectly acceptable motel for an overnight stay before Yosemite, but nothing special. Room was fairly basic but functional at least, and comfortable enough for a quick overnight stay. For the price though, we found significantly better places elsewhere - I guess it's just the proximity to Yosemite that pushes the price up here. Free breakfast was fine but not especially... More

We hope that you have reviewed the right lodging facility as we do not have a free breakfast but we do have a restaurant across the street that serves a great breakfast. More

This setting is great, and we had a very nice room with a fridge and microwave. There are eating places within walking distance. There is no a/c here, so keep that in mind if you go during the summer. It was comfortable at night, but it was very warm during the day. The motel is divided into several sections on... More

It is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us except for a plumbing issue. All of our clerks are trained to help as much as possible with any issues that may occur. The prices of our rooms are all the same whether you book online, by phone, or through our website. We do offer 7 different types... More

We stayed for 2 nights, as a stop-over on our way to San Francisco. The lodges were immaculately clean and had brand new, extremely comfortable bedding and mattresses. The heating in the rooms worked perfectly, the wifi was fast and reliable and parking was easy. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet, so a good nights sleep was guaranteed. The... More

Situated over 7.000 feet up in the mountains of north eastern California, June Lake is a popular spot for vacations throughout the four seasons. It is also a convenient overnight stop for those travelling between northern California and northern Arizona If we were staying for more one night, you would definitely want to stay somewhere more comfortable and spacious than... Good location, good administration. Very tiny shower cabin. No refrigerator. There is Wi Fi but the signal is weak. This is a budget hotel with a good location. Convenient to stay and travel all around area which is very interesting.

Visited last year, and decided to come back and stay again and was not disappointed. Always so friendly and helpful, was not even a problem when we locked our key out late in the evening. The rooms once again have a lovely cosy feel to them. We can see ourselves hopefully coming back for years to come.

We needed a one-night stop-over between Reno and Death Valley so we chose June Lake. This lodge is just alright, very basic. You can have breakfast from restaurant across the road. There's only about 3 restaurants in the area. Would I stay here again? Likely not. I'll go to Mammoth Lake where there's more choice of lodging and amenities.

The town itself of June Lake is very small but there is also more lodging, restaurants, and amenities around the loop. We are always happy to give advice or suggestions on places to go and things to do as well as dining options all around the area. More
