I was a bit worried when I saw some of the other reviews but it is under new ownership and it was very accommodating and comfortable! We plan on going back again next year! We stayed in the large suite downstairs, I love the fireplace, private deck, and the Jacuzzi tub! The view was so tranquil and amazing and the...

This four bedroom home is just that. For the price it lacks service. No breakfast available, and the staff do not refill coffee pods, make the bed, ensure the rubbish is taken out. you are on your own - I stayed for three days. Jim the manager means well but he hasn't a clue and his boss the owner never...

Tastefully done, super comfy bed, not new, but clean and just a wonderful escape into the hills. The view from the deck is pure tranquility and sitting on the deck under the starlit sky... WOW! like medicine for city folks! There are 3 bigg-ish telescopes for your convenience too, as well as a kettle, a little fridge and complimentary teas...

Our stay was the middle of July. The lodge is a beautiful location, high overlooking the valley and wildlife. The deck is great with plenty of shade. Quiet, comfortable with beautiful views.. The private cottage was quant, cozy and comfortable for our needs. The innkeeper, Jim was very gracious and informative.

Jim, the innkeeper, has been working very hard on the property. I have been watching the reviews and was apprehensive about our stay, since it was booked for us by someone else. I can see where Jim has made some changes for the better. We stayed in the Tranquility Room. It was large and very quiet, but the sheets were...

If you have your head up your A!!, and drive a car more than college tuition, keep looking. This little INN, a couple of miles from Julian, is simple and over seen by a simple caring guy, named Jim. It will remind you of a stay at Grandma's. We found it rustic and do-able. Our stay of only 1 night...

Me and my wife were told of Tucker Peak Lodge by a couple of friends who stayed here on their honeymoon. So after calling for details, we were granted a referral discounted rate for a one night's stay. Despite the fact that it's on the top of a kind of steep hill, the place was really good. Jim, the inkeeper was...
