My longtime friend from CA and I (from TN) decided to visit Julian this spring for a much needed rest and getaway! And I must say we stayed at the most Excellent B&B in Julian, the Wikiup Bed and Breakfast! I stayed in the Warren Willow Room and loved it! It smelled wonderful, had a great feather bed, was theme...

My husband and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary with a getaway to the Wikiup. Upon checking in we were greeted by the blue jays, hummingbirds, llamas, and Linda and Lee. We stayed in the Willow Warren room. This room is awesome as you sleep under a bed of tree lit branches, there is also an electric fireplace, and a 2...

HOLY COW!! We stayed at the Wikiup B&B for two nights just before Easter. We had never been to Julian so we weren't familiar with any of the B&B's or hotels. Selected The Wikiup based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Lee and Linda are gracious hosts who care very much for their guests. We stayed in the Shady...

Found this wonderful tranquil B&B in Julian. This is an ideal spot for a romantic getaway. Each room has it's own hot tub. The rooms are tastefully decorated, I stayed in the pueblo room. There's even a mini kitchen complete with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee maker, plates and utensils. Each room has it's own patio area so you can...

Delicious breakfasts, caring hosts, lovingly designed rooms and funny llamas. It was a perfectly relaxing weekend away. The hosts make you feel like you're part of their family and I love the fact you get to chat to other guests during breakfast. And apparently, the hosts can take you on a trek with the llamas!

I'm compelled to submit my first review ever following a great time at the Wikiup B&B. Linda and Les are great hosts, tremendous bedrooms unlike anything I'd ever seen before all w their own hot tubs, and a wonderful breakfast all in a great location. Don't forget to feed the lamas.

If you are tired of the sterile hotel experience, try a change of scene at this superb bed-and-breakfast, a little more than a mile outside of Julian, California. The bed-and-breakfast is run by Linda and Lee who make everybody very welcome. There are five bedrooms and each is decorated ornately and thematically. Every morning, everybody gathers together for a communal...

My wife and I spent two wonderful days at Wikiup BnB. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. The room was comfortable and cozy, the ambiance was perfect for rest and relaxation, and the scenery was spectacular. Lee and Linda made us feel as if we were part of the family and the breakfasts were out of...

My fiance and I stayed here and we absolutely loved it. We took a mini romantic vacay and this place was perfect. Linda and her husband were so sweet. It ended up snowing and they let my fiance borrow a jacket and gloves. They made home cooked gourmet breakfast every morning and it was so delicious. It was a very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Julian, California's very romantic and secluded Wikiup Bed and Breakfast is located on four wooded hillside acres in a relaxed, rural setting. While at the B&B, enjoy the country life, only a mile from the historic mining town of Julian. However, the bustling city of San Diego is only an hour and 20 minutes away.Five wonderful guest rooms include all the amenities of a fine hotel, including large in-room spas or private out door hot tubs. Full and delicious breakfasts are your innkeeper's specialty. Awaken to scrumptious "country gourmet" feasts and enjoy a different creation every morning. Afternoon desserts are made available in the common area daily. Enjoy the breezes and shade covered decks by day, or unwind in the comfort of your hot tub or spa under the star-filled night skies. Walking paths, a restful swing, as well as fountains and a pond, encourage you to linger on the grounds and relax. The beautiful mountain atmosphere is perfect place to relax and forget about your busy life and hectic schedule. Llama feeding, swings, and the dreamy silence of the forest night make the Wikiup a favorite vacation getaway. ... more   less
