Great food, great staff, GREAT view πŸ˜πŸ˜ƒ. Stopped here on our trip down HWy 1 (which is awesome !) We had burgers and fish and chips and it all tasted great. Friendly staff completed the experience πŸ‘πŸ‘Œ The view on the pacific is simply astonishing πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ, so that and and the great food make it a recommended stop.

Took a short road trip over Skaggs Springs Road from Geyserville to the coast for a couple of nights. Were staying a bit further south but wanted to find a spot along the way for a casual lunch. Read the reviews, charted out drive and were not disappointed. Perfect mid week eating out experience post shut downs - only one other couple there. Pleasant server took our simple burger & fries order, kitchen delivered in just a few minutes........Nicely grilled burger, juicy inside, crisp outside, classic, good size slice of lettuce, tomato, pickles, lettuce, all your own personal size condiments to choose from and hot fries. Both ate everything at the bar and enjoyed the view across Hwy 1 to the ocean. Very clean restroom. We'd stop again.

We drove 35 miles for a lunch based on ratings. They had two beers on tap so we ordered beer and burgers. The waitress said one couldn't be drawn because of the foam. The second keg ran out at half a glass. I did notice all of the liquor bottles were in the sun. Food was OK We were not hotel guests, but it looked nice from the outside and family friendly

Ocean Cove Lodge is located near Fort Ross and Salt Point State parks in one of the most magical stretches of Highway 1. It's an oceanfront property (no access to water) with enchanting views. The rooms are a good size and well organized: refrigerator, microwave, sitting area. The most important: the rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The ground and the hotel are well maintained and you can see Tim, the owner, with his workers walking and checking everything around since early morning. The establishment is quite old, but it's kept very well and there is a good nostalgic feeling of "good old one". There are a restaurant and bar on-site with live music in the evening. Tim is very helpful and very pleasant to talk to. I'd recommend it for those who drive by and for those who want to spend a few romantic days by the ocean.…

My husband and I spent the weekend with our #2 son and his family and we couldn't have been happier with our rooms. The king room we had was cozy and very clean! The staff was helpful and very good to us. There is a nice outside area that our grandkids got to explore and play in and the two residence kitty's Lenny and Lou were more than entertaining and friendly! All around good experience and we will be back.

This is the perfect getaway if you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of regular life and experience amazing views. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and Ocean Cove Lodge has become a regular stopping place when we escape the heat of the Valley for a weekend of relaxation.

Your basic motel ambiance, with friendly staff and decent food in the cafe. Nope, not a spa, just your basic slightly worn but quite serviceable lodgings. Significantly less expensive than just about everything else in the area. And for those who found the WiFi slow, it's satellite based with 2Mb down and 1Mb up. Don't plan on streaming, but works for email and lightweight web surfing. Heater in the room worked just fine, bathroom was slightly cramped but clean. Just the thing for a road trip.

The best, was comparable to any home cooked Thanksgiving Dinner. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green beans & cranberry sauce. Options: large or modest portion. Simpler deco, friendly staff. Apple, pumpkin or pecan pie. Perfect! Visit the Sea Ranch Chapel nearby.
