Hit the dining room twice as a pure covid related accident. Between our go to forcing us to eat in the car (it was WINDY), CalTrans offering nothing but delays, we explored what we bad never considered before. The choice was unexpected and a great find! The food was amazing! We had heard they were very expensive but that was not true at all. Very reasonable and top tier food. Great, friendly staff. Grounds and buildings are spotless. Very impressed. We will all be back!

Hotel's Favorite
This was our first time to Timber Cove (TC) and we were pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I visit Jenner a few times a year and typically stay at a different establishment. We visited TC on January 26-28, 2020. ACCOMODATIONS: We stayed here for two nights; 1st in a partial ocean view room and then upgraded to full ocean view. The partial ocean view looked toward the ocean and shore with a bit of tree and a dance floor (below-we were on the 2nd floor) that wasn't in use (January) at the time. It was much bigger than the ocean view room. The ocean view room was on the bottom level and we were able to open the sliding glass door and step right out for a walk. Both were amazing. STAFF: Staff were beyond amazing. Savanna and Laura assisted us at the front desk. We were brought complementary wine and glasses to the room per the current special so we didn't have to wait at the front desk and we were referred to the hotel manager, Michael O'Conner for the ocean view upgrade which made the transition smooth. Mr. O'Conner was especially accommodating as he personally took us to and showed us the various room choices so that we would be happy with the upgrade. He was attentive and personally addressed a separate concern that was immediately handled by the restaurant manager(?), Ivan. Vern was our very exceptional breakfast waiter, very timely and accommodating. He made sure all of our needs were met without invading our time or space. He seemed to always appear at exactly the right time. Housekeeping were also exceptional, especially when we changed rooms; they were patient as we vacated the partial ocean view and attentive by pleasantly unlocking the door of the ocean view room since we hadn't yet acquired the key. We enjoyed playing Pool, Table Tennis, and Foosball and wished there were more time to enjoy the many table games TC offered in the lounge. We hiked to the top by the totem the first day and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the water. And we hiked to a point on the rocks (Vern referred us) and sat for hours the next day- privileged to enjoy watching the whales and a friendly seal. The weather was perfect, the stay was perfect, the staff were perfect... This will be our go to place when we return to Jenner. We highly recommend Timber Cove - a wonderful and amazing get away.

My solo stay was 11/22 - 11/25. I anticipated a lovely experience based on photos and guest reviews. However, I was somewhat (delightfully!) wrong: my stay completely surpassed my expectations. Everyone I interacted with — from Adam, Yndrya, Lauren, and Caesar at the Front Desk, to the entire culinary team including Chef Nathan and Chef Kyle, to the service team with Leif, Oliver, and Taylor, plus Harry and Ivan — were so warm and welcoming. Kendall was great, too! It’s clear the team is deeply committed to cultivating a memorable experience and their intuitive interactions elevated my stay. When was the last time you remembered so many names of those who took care of you at a hotel? That’s the impression they left with me. Also worth mentioning were all the delicious meals I enjoyed! I’m vegan and gluten free and was a little worried I would either be hungry or eat the same garden salad for 3 days. In this arena, they exceeded my expectations. And not only did I eat well and with a wide variety of interesting options, but I was never made to feel like I was an inconvenience with my preferences/allergies. I live in NYC and that just isn’t the case there. One final thought: the location is one hundred times more breathtaking in person than the photos you will find online. I loved my cliffside walks around the property and the ocean view from my room.
