OK we get a new camper. Want to go somewhere SPECIAL. driving by the N side of this lake is beautiful, picture perfect. So I call. I am told about the prices and the extra cost for our little yorkies. NO PROBLEM. We arrive and the view is not as beautiful as the N side but still pretty. So we... More

Stayed for 1 night in an RV en route to Yosemite. Whole site was somewhat unloved, with some very old permanent lodges that looked ready to fall down. Sites very close to each other. Very dusty. Shower ($1 for 5 mins) was almost cold (impressive given it was 98 degrees outside). RV sites had hookups but again unloved - the... More

This is a wonderful campground, with lots of big shady trees and large campsites. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit and storage locker. There are bathrooms with hot water, and coin operated showers, Popular with fisherman and bird watchers, this campground is near the historic town of La Grange, just off of Highway 132 near Lake Tulloch itself.... Layout can trap towed trailers in cabana sites. Bathroom toilets overflowing; this in early Spring. Can't imagine high summer. Outhouse disgusting. Showers lukewarm. Owner has lots of deferred maintenance to address. Price too high. Definitely not a quiet lake - lots of jet skis, boom boxes, and young males high on testosterone. Beautiful scenery. Lots of birds. Where are the... More

We enjoyed our recent stay at Lake Tulloch RV Campground but there were a few issues. There was a loud party going on in one of the cabins. The partiers had the parking lot blocked so you could not drive through. They were about 20 young people partying at one cabin. The staff was very friendly and helpful but did... More

DO NOT rent a boat from Bev's - I think they are running a scam - they charge people for damages to boats when the renters have not caused the damage - We rented a pontoon boat from them on Saturday (8/6/11) - to make a long story short, they accused us of causing damage to the propellor, which we... BEWARE OF RENTING PONTOON BOAT FROM THIS PLACE!! We rented a pontoon boat for a day with family and friends at Lake Tulloch Boat Rental. We dealt with Mike to make reservations and everything seemed to be fine talking by phone, however we had no idea we were in for a tragic weekend. His boat was unsafe and should have... More

I wish I had read this review about Bev's boat rentals prior to our doing so. We rented two wave runners and one patio boat. After turning in the three vessels, the next day they charged my credit card 1000.00 in damages, late fees and labor that were not brought to our attention. Crooked establishment ran by all family members.
