OMG!! I have over 30 bed bug bites after a night in this motel and I'm horrified. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and I've never been bit by a bug - I can now say this is a first. There were no rooms anywhere near by, it's getting late, so against my better judgment hubby and I booked... More

I and the staff at the hotel want to apologize that this happened. We have already processed your refund as discussed. We hope the rest of your trip in Jamestown was wonderful. Unfortunately, bed bugs can happen at even the nicest hotel and must be brought in by another guest to occur. The weekend of your stay was the local... More

Surprised when we arrived and entered the room as we had expected less! Room was clean and tidy and an added bonus we hadn't expected was the spa bath / Hot tub which we didn't use as you have to book this option in advance.

This is a nice, fairly reasonably priced motel. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. It was clean and the beds comfortable. There's a pool that one can do short laps in. If you stay here while visiting Yosemite, it takes about one hour and three-quarters one way. The motel is right off Main Street, close to shops and restaurants.... More

On a recent road trip we stayed at the Jamestown Railtown Motel. It was a nice motel for a traveler. The room and grounds was nice and clean. There is a pool. There is not a coffee maker in the room but you can walk down to the office and get a cup of coffee. The room rate was reasonable... More

What a rip off. We were charges $110 for a room that was not worth $50. Their Web site advertises $65. But the tourist info lady called for us and they stuck us. We should have backed out when the woman showed us the room and said don't run air on high it works best on low. Well it didnt.... More

Stayed in Jamestown to allow us to get a camp pitch early in Yosemite the next day. One of the cheaper options in delightful Jamestown. Lacks the character of some of the older hotels but the room was large & clean with a jacuzzi in the corner. Small but welcome outdoor pool. Easy walk to the Main Street of this... More

Jamestown is a beautiful small gold mining town and this was the only accomadation available. With hindsight we should have slept in the car .It started at checkin it was breaking the rules to do it but he would take a Debit Card to pay for the room. The room was large but with a jacuzzi bath in the corner with... More

As we pulled up to the hotel, I thought "oh my god, what a dump!" As we checked in, we were given keys to the room, yes I said KEYS. The doors had outdated residential door locks to the rooms, and they were very finicky! Those locks did not work well at all. Once in the room, we had a... More

As others have said, it's an older motel, carpet is showing it's age, and the mattress were iffy, but it was clean, and located within walking distance of main street. Has a fridge & microwave & pool. Price was high for what we got, but less than other hotels in the area. Would probably stay here again if I could... More
