The motel rooms are very nice. I guess they are 10- 15 years old. The furnishings are in excellent condition, the carpet is decent, and the walls do not have any scratches, scrapes, dings, or patched nail holes . Heating and air conditioning work good. The room is not very large. The bed is a full size - not queen,...

We stayed here for several days and enjoyed it very much except for the wind, but then nearly all of southern CA was windy at that time. People are nice. We brought our 5th Wheel RV had full hookups. No TV unless you have satellite dish setup. I read a few years ago the resort was once a KOA until...

I spent a few days at DeAnza Springs resort following a business trip in San Diego. It's only 90 minutes away drive time but a world away in environment. I stayed in one of the rental RV/mobile homes - clean, fully equipped, quiet. The resort is large enough that all the units and homes are spread out, with pleasant landscaping,...

The place is overall good but needs some work. They have a problem with "goatheads" which are thorny seeds. They seem to come from a empty lot next to the pool area. If they get in your bedding, an air mattress will be ruined like mine was. Some of the metal post around the pool area are rusting.

This is a wonderful get away only a short drive from downtown San Diego. There is more activity on holiday weekends especially in summer. There is great hiking and often fun entertainment on Saturday nights.

I've stayed in the Park Models, RVs for rent and in my own rig with full hook-ups. The sites are big and provide an outside table and BBQ. The food in the restaurant is nice and varied. Always friendly staff and the pool are is clean and inviting. Bingo and Trivia some evenings but the regulars seem a little miffed...

When I first visited the resort, I was surprised to find a clothing optional resort more or less out in the "wilderness". It is about 1 hour from San Diego and more or less on the border with Mexico. It took a while to figure out all the helicopters and others that seemed to be watching what was going on,...

Deanza Springs is HOME to many, including SNOWBIRDS! My husband and I call Deanza Springs home from October to May, where we live in our park model home amongst some of the greatest community/family members that we could ask for. We love the hiking, desert, indoor pool, hot tub, gym and many activities organized by the park staff. We also...

had been a member for 13 years until today. I suggest, if you do visit you look closely at your invoices and always KEEP A COPY!! My husband and I will not be returning to this nudist RV park due to the unprofessional actions by the owners and their family members. It's sad really, the employees and residents are super...

I have visited DeAnza several times since 2006, mostly for day visits, but once staying in one of the motel-style rooms. I have visited solo on some occasions, and on others with my wife. Our welcome upon checking in has always been friendly. Whether you want to relax around the pool(s) or go for a hike, this place has the...
