I stayed here several years ago and noticed, someone a door or two down was throwing the voice to create the illusion of a voyeur/exhibitionistic, rip off, psych game. "Just leave your door unlocked and I;ll let myself in," the ventriloquist kept suggesting. Someone nearby was "adding to the special effects, also." It's a Rip Off Game To Be Wary...

We showed up in person to make a reservation for a later date. The inn keeper wouldn't let us in the lobby. Had to stand outside in 102 degree heat while he peeked out. He asked if we smoked and we said never inside. He then became very rude and yelled at us that he wouldn't rent to us. Said...

This is our favorite motel to stay in Jackson. Locate close to Walmart, shopping center and choices of restaurants. Our room (queen bed) is compact and tidy, attractive surrounding, lovely field in back and charming garden with pool. No breakfast provided but there is a small coffee set in the room.

I stumbled across El Campo Casa while traveling through Jackson at night. Its neon sign and Spanish style architecture put me in mind of the Beverly Hills Hotel and old Hollywood -- a nostalgic frame of mind for an earlier era. It's not a deluxe or luxury hotel but it is a very nice, welcoming, clean place -- deliberately free...

Great garden and pool but the rooms are a train wreck! Hummingbirds galore! Making reservations on phone with woman who sounds terribly unhappy. Greeted upon arrival by man who was also quite sedate. Room was dark and disgusting both by sight and smell! Even the shampoo was horrible, leaving my hair like straw.

Room was basic but OK. Staff were friendly. The entire hotel and grounds have a lot of charm that you just don't find in many hotels in this price range. I wish we were here in summer when we could have enjoyed the lovely garden and pool area a lot more. The location is fine for driving, but it is...

I had the most wonderful stay with Linda & Howard who congenially helped me in so many ways. It was a great relief for me to be protected from cigarette smoke. The garden is absolutely divine. The pool is inviting! All the birds singing created a paradise off the freeway. The cow pastures out my window added to the peace...

Pleasant 60’s era hacienda architecture nestled into hillside, room tiny but clean and reasonably maintained. Since I only slept there one night, I didn’t tour the grounds. Owner a pleasant fellow. Good if you are looking for inexpensive accomodations.

That is,don't stay here unless you enjoy being insulted by an arrogant innkeeper and you enjoy old, rundown motels.

We've stayed here several times, as my girlfriend's parents live in Pine Grove. Always quiet and clean. Affordable, clean and retro! We will stay here many more times.
