The staff will kill the vibe of your entire visit. The bathrooms are older the plumbing is dangerous! Cold to scorching hot water off and on i would not reccomend allowing small children in the showers. When amenities are open the pool is never regulated for behavior and ALWAYS over packed with people. I would not camp here if it was free.
We are 3rd year members and still await 50 amp service in the I row and sewers in the only shady portions of the park. Yes... staff is helpful and respectful, yet management still doesn't understand the importance of grooming camp sites as grass always seems to need a fresh mow. Will continue to come because it is always location location.... but some of the little stuff like mow/water the camp sites and the biggy ....get on the improvements noted above are unfulfilled promises.
we stayed in one of the cabins; it was like a hotel we didn't have to bring anything but our clothes! cabin was furnished with everything we needed, it was very clean, and we were able to check in before 3:00 pm. Staff there were great too, very accommodating and friendly. We will be back again!
We stayed down the road and wanted to try a new place. Lighthouse is very nice, clean and big! Office staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have 2 bathroom locations, 1 by office and other in the clubhouse. Both have shower stalls making it easy to get in and out without having to wait. RV spots are nice and big. Able to have RV and 1 tent on site! This is our new spot on the delta!
This resort is part of the RV Park membership group Resort of Distinction. We are members of this group. Our home resort is Harmony Ridge in Nevada City, CA. Our home resort is very nice. Clean, well maintained and wonderful sites. So, when we booked into this resort we had an expectation it would be run like our home resort. TALK ABOUT DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The pictures on the home page of this resort are SOOO DECEIVING!!!! First of all, I don't think they have mowed the grass in months. The grad around the sites and pool is a jungle. Where the best shaded sites are there is no sewer hookups. The sewer hookup sites are where the permanent/monthly residents are. About 95% of those sites are occupied by dilapidated units. There are also several tent sites mixed in with RV sites. The bathrooms at the main building are single units and wear your waterproof sandals as they are not well kept. The woman who registered us has no personal pride in her appearance. She was slovenly. She did not give us the bathroom code. We did not figure this out until after the office closed. This would not have been a problem except the latch on the door of our Class A broke when we exited the rig to check in locking us outside of the rig. Now we are locked out. My husband is partially disabled, so we took out our step ladder and I crawled in through the open window of the drivers side of the coach. I worked on taking the latch apart from the inside. The problem now is my husband has to use the restroom and we don't have the code to get into the bathroom. If that weren't enough one of the long time residents starts blaring their music. Thank God the gal from the office drove by on a golf cart (with her toddler sitting next to her unsecured) I hollered out to her that we needed the bathroom code. Her response was, "It's in your welcome packet." I informed her she did not give us a welcome packet. Instead of walking over to the office which was right in front of our rig she hollered out the code to me. I then asked her if the loud music was allowed as I was annoyed by it. She told me she would go talk to them and did. They lowered their music. Because this park is in the Delta the ground is moist all of the time. So, you have lots of mosquitos at dusk. Some of them are mutant! My advice is AVOID THIS RESORT IF YOU LIKE A NICE, WELL MAINTAINED RESORT. I will be providing this review to Resorts of Distinction and letting them know I feel this resort should be removed from their group as it definitely makes me feel I got scammed with my membership.…
