Service is bad, and prices are too high. So a beautiful place, but the management is terrible. Feels like this place does not have an owner. some staff don't even speak English.Bad choice of beer and wine.

Amazing place to stay in! Super nice spa with cosy atmosphere. Great hotel. Super nice garden! Lots of activity options. You can play golf, rent a bike, sail with boat in the river near there. Very kind workers! I recommend you to stay there!

This is a nice Baltic German manor hotel, and we were lucky to be here in sunshine and warmth (I had been here twice before). Lovely grounds, a magnificent, large new spa, very good reception staff, and the function rooms for business quite good. But my room had torn mosquito screens, and a foul smell emanated from the bathroom. There was no housekeeping during our stay, and the dark rooms were three-star at best. Breakfast was even worse, with a very slim selection and few truly tasty selections (lots of high-carb things, old bread), and the dinners were okay food-wise but brought down by genuinely unfriendly, rude waitresses, especially an old one with badly-colored red hair. Transport logistics had several hiccups, and all this added up to an experience that was subpar and at best satisfactory, but not more.

Beautiful grounds. Rooms are reasonably spacious and very clean. Bed is quite comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is a full service facility. Each room come with a fan and that helps a-lot to make it comfortable in the Spring.

The upkeep is spacious and relaxing. Wonderful place to take time off from everyday errands. Garden is well maintained and has great views. Suite is spacious has super-comfy beds and a bath. Thick stone walls make rooms quiet and relaxing. Pool and sauna centre are fun. Breakfast has really wide choice of good food. The accommodation was so relaxing, that even thinking back on it two weeks later I feel bit more relaxed :)

When we were booking our stay (via email), we also reserved a table at the restaurant. During winter there are not many other options to go to eat and also it is a logical option. Since I am vegetarian and when looking at the menu, they only had one vegetarian main course option available, we kindly asked to make sure that I can actually eat there and reserve that one food for me. After that got a confirmation that table is booked. Guess what they ran out of that day? Of course the only option I can eat. Had to wait around 20 minutes to see if the kitchen can make something for me or I have to accept that I have to eat a salad and stay hungry. Fortuntely the server and kitchen were kind enough and made me a special out of the menu meal: veggie burger + fires. But that is not a food I actually want to eat in a fancy restaurant on a date. Two tips for future: * don't lose that kind of information * a lot of people are avoiding/not eating meat nowadays, keep up with current times and add more plant based main course foods in the menu or at least make sure that the only veggie option does not run out before dinner reservations.

Avoid Vihula Manor Good Nothing to mention Bad Spa / Pool is messy, smelly , slippy and about as relaxing as school swimming lesson Food - poor quality from the frozen baked bread to the apple crumble pending to be a Tarte Tatin - a true canteen feeling Room - reminds me of nice roadside motel, grandmas carpet and tired - also asleep look & feel Ugly Breakfast Coffee - I’m not sure if should be allowed to use the name coffee Grounds - many of the buildings look uncared & tired Summary This is more like an IBIS / Premier Inn with a swimming pool than a premium manor

Even though everything is located in separate buildings (SPA, restaurant, room), it was fun to walk between those and enjoy the beautiful snowy winter. Be sure to visit during good weather: either in summer or during snowy winter.

Firs time at this famous manor and everything was splendid. The room itself was nice and quiet, spa with many saunas was good and the dinner at restaurant was excellent. All six foods we had with my wife were tasty and wines frefreshing and Viveka served us friendly at restaurant. So everything was just it is due to be!

Negative experience, I admired the table decoration and took it in my hands for a close looking. A service staff barked at me with the following words « don’t touch only watch ». If so there should be a notice on the table that is absolutely forbidden/crime to touch the decoration such as : « PLEASE don’t touch » We felt very unpleasant and were happy to leave very soon Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa.
