This is a nice regular hotel near LAX (15 min drive). Rooms are large and clean, and parking inside the hotel yard is a plus. Close to highway, and only 30 min drive from Hollywood blvd. Great base for a quick tourist visit to L.A.
Staff was nice, especially Maria, she’s very sweet and helpful. Clean hotel, comfy bed, cold ac, nice view, clean parking lot, there is an elevator and stairs, cable, microwave, fridge. I recommend staying here.
Avoid this at all costs. Instead, spend a little extra to get a good night's sleep. We booked this motel thinking we just had to spend one night travelling to our destination in the US. It was a terrible experience. There is a busy road next to it which is very noisy. In addition, the hotel is like a prison with one lift that takes you to your floor and concrete floors, making things worse. We were on the first floor and kept hearing footsteps, trolly dragging noise all night. We requested and asked them to store our luggage for a couple of hours they refused. The customer service is also bad; the girl at the counter only had one answer "sorry, no" We moved to a better option by paying a little extra for a good bath and free shuttle to the airport and luggage storage. So please avoid this at all costs.…
The rooms are as expected for a 2 star hotel. Not great, but at least it was clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The wifi is the slowest least reliable internet I have ever had. Constantly loosing the signal and way too slow for streaming or video conferencing. There is a mini fridge and a microwave, no coffee pot, no ironing board, and no in room safe. For an overnight stay this hotel is a cheap option near the airport. Not recommended for longer stays
Ray at the front desk harassed me from the day he started until the time that I left. When I wrote an email to management to file a formal complaint, him and his accomplice John/Jose intercepted and retaliated by telling me that I could no longer extend my stay. I have worked in management for over 10 years and I have never experienced rogue employees like the ones here. How can staff be held accountable when there is no one to report their conduct to? Ray and John/Jose are poor reflections of hospitality workers. I would never recommend this establishment to even my worst enemy.
A great price for the area. The room was clean, beds comfy, staff friendly. Restaurants nearby and a grocery store within walking distance. From LAX, I took the free shuttle bus that stops at the pink signs outside the terminals. It took me to the LAX/Aviation Metro stop. You can take the metro one stop east to Hawthorne or take the 120 bus just a few stops to Ramona. Super easy to get to from LAX. Everything worked inside the room. Felt safe and enjoyed my stay!
This place is not only disgusting, but terrifying. I was only on the premises for about an hour and it was easily one of the worst experiences I've had in my entire life. While I was trying to exit the elevator with my dog, another guest let her dog enter the elevator. The dog started attacking my dog, and even broke skin on my dog's hind leg. The dog owner refused to exchange information, started yelling, and ran off (she was trying to enter the hotel when this occurred but then she turned back and left the hotel property). I reported the incident to the front desk and he shrugged at me saying he couldn't do anything because he didn't even know if the person with the dog was a hotel guest (this incident happened beyond where you should be allowed without a room key). He later backtracked on that and told me this person was staying in a room 2 doors down from mine. He also stated that the hotel "can't help it if a dog is aggressive." Another woman behind the desk stated that they wouldn't do anything "if it was the first time the dog was aggressive." Needless to say, I asked for a refund and left the property. All of this is not even to mention the hair that was all over the bathroom and in the tub when we checked in. This place is repulsive…
For my needs, this was perfect. The room was very spacious, the bed was a bit too firm for me, but nice & big. I was glad there was an elevator. Continental breakfast offering good but with current pandemic, probably only individually wrapped foods should be offered. The TV & remote were excellent, lots of good channels (some places have slim pickings). Nice armchair for reading. Microwave, frig. Everything worked well, I have no complaints at all. The price was excellent. I'll book here whenever I go to LA.
This America Best Value Inn was suitable for my 2 days stay. The area is perfect, quick access to freeways and Lax Airport. The room has a microwave & refrigerator is a plus, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. You are allowed to check-in and stay late for an additional fee. The only minor complaints: no iron/ironing board, no onsite laundry facility. I would stay here again.
I picked the hotel pretty well on price and the photo..I arrived late from Hawaii and got a cab there. The guy on the front desk was expecting me as I'd messaged them with my arrival time. The check in procedure went well and I made my way in the elevator to my room on the third floor. The room was clean and well presented. Internet was a bit slow. The mattress was firm, but comfortable. I slept really well.. I think what would put people off is that it's an older building, in need of updating in perhaps not the best area. It does have nearby cheap eateries if that's what you need. Staff were chatty, friendly, polite and efficient. A continental breakfast was provided...not really noteworthy...bought in baby muffins, cereal, croissants, coffee and orange juice. It was tidy and clean. They stored my suitcase for a couple of hours as I went shopping. I would stay there again...more because of the staff rather than the building. There are few, if any areas that you would walk around in the early hours.…
