We just needed a place for 2 nights as we were visiting friends. Not worth the $80.00 per day. Wifi is a joke. No picnic table. Better to stay at the Fantasy Casino down the road, they want your business and want you to stay in their parking lot, for free

A bit of a love/hate review for this Resort. Pros - A very nice but small RV resort that caters to all rig sizes. Most sites are bordered with hedges that provide some great privacy from your neighbour. Our site had a nice grassy area behind it. There are paved sites and grassed sites whichever you prefer. The pool is large with plenty of seating available including a shaded area. Fairly easy to back your rig into the sites. Some sites are wider than others thereby providing more parking area for your vehicle. Garbage pickup everyday at your site. Friendly staff in the office. Easy access to I-10 with minimal traffic noise. Close proximity to any shopping one would require, i.e. groceries, hardware, restaurants, casinos, etc. Nice pond stocked with Koi and home to many waterfowl. A large fountain in the pond and a gathering area for evening bonfires and get togethers is a nice touch. Plenty of visitor parking. Well stocked book library and DVD library. Cons - While there are a few organized activities, i.e. golf outings, hiking outings, etc., the resort has very limited activities compared to other resorts. The gym and equipment condition is old, outdated and in some cases, in need of repair. The price for a monthly stay is very expensive in my view. Yes it's the Coachella Valley but the overall condition of the resort, available activities and infrastructure does not warrant these prices. Washroom door latch and toilet seat in the men's washroom near the emergency exit need repair. The other men's washroom door does not automatically latch. Laundry rooms are small with little or no space for folding clothes or even sitting down. Despite there being a policy that washing your rv or vehicle at the resort is prohibited, the policy is not followed. An employee washed his 5th wheel at his site and another guest washed his coach upon arriving. I'm not sure how many negative reviews have to be made about the dismal wifi at this resort but it is painful. I know the resort has posted that wifi is provided for basic email communication and not for streaming, etc. but the entire service is limited. One has to log in each and every time you want to use it. Signal would drop and have to login again. Very frustrating and totally unnecessary with today's technology. Something I've never experienced before is a complete provision of personal toiletry items in the washrooms. Shaving cream, razors, after shave, deodorant, etc. Why spend money on purchasing these items for your guests when everyone brings their own supplies? Seems somewhat unnecessary to me. General - I wouldn't stay here again mainly due to the price and the wifi situation. Otherwise, it's a very nice resort for some relaxation.

Way overpriced for amenities available. No racquet courts. An adequate pool but not as clean as it should be. Small washrooms with broken shower head in ladies restroom near pool. Library door latch loose. Biggest complaint was the very sporadic WiFi reception with false claims of getting it fixed. Overall, more of the daily profits need to be invested in Park improvements. Plus side. Large clean site. Decent Library.

Shadow hills RV resort Location: The Good: 5 minute drive to stater bro’s. Grocery, Walgreens pharmacy, Starbucks, restaurants and gas, hardware store, etc. Well planned setting with 2 ponds with ducks, koi fish and even a heron or 2 fishing, fountains with mountain view back drops, lovely swimming pool (no diving - 4 ft deep) that is heated. Also a spa tub for groups, gas fire pits around the pool area, friendly, helpful office staff, large event building, weight/exercise room and huge games room. Feedback for owners: The internet was terrible. Very frustrating. I know there are better systems, but it looks like they haven’t invested in it yet. This one thing could mean more business. It’s an everyday necessity these days, especially for travellers and workers. The laundry room near the emergency entrance is disgusting. I went to Valentino’s Laundry in town, after trying the park’s facilities. (Was much cleaner, open and airy and not far). Excellent office staff. The speed limit at the park is 5 miles an hour. The workers drive their golf carts much too fast. This is dangerous for dogs and pedestrians. While we were there, one large garbage bin near us was not emptied for days, even after we brought it to the staff’s attention. Finally, the owners at Shadow Hills must invest in upgrades to internet, gym, game room, computers in reading room. Also, the rat traps outside the main building is a symptom of the musty smells in that building. Also, not impressed with the singing worker. No one cares. Kinda creepy

Very much like Shadow Hills RV Resort. Beautiful grounds that are well maintained. Choice of concrete pads or areas with grass. We were in a spot that is adjacent to small pond. Nice to sit out back of the RV overlooking the pond. Highly recommend. Very friendly and helpful staff.
