We pretty much just hung at the pool the whole time we were there. My son rode down the small waterslide dozens of times. I went down the big one myself once, he was 1/2" too short, though it seemed like other kids his size were going down. There was lots of room, we had to look just for a few minutes for lounge chairs on Sat/Sun, but ended up in good spots. Got some drinks, expensive, but that's probably par for the course. The room was great, terrific view. The bathtub was not properly cleaned, and the mattress in the sofabed is awful. But everything else in the room was great, and it was very spacious, with a nice balcony. We didn't partake of food for the most part, just a couple of breakfast items on our last day...coffee tasted a little bitter, so check your filters, might need to clean out the brewers with some vinegar. Lobby is very large, lots of room, I spent the last day working in the lobby while my family was out at the pool.

My family had the best little getaway at the Hyatt. Felt like life was back to normal again. This vacation was good for my soul. Adults and kids had a great time. The lazy river & water slides were our families favorite.

We've stayed here many times but this one was different. The water park upgrade was a hit with the kids. The service at the pool was lacking. I will say the one redeeming employee was Trey at Agave for dinner. He took care of us two nights and was fantastic. The food at the pool was good. The dine-in breakfast concept of ordering and having food delivered was great in theory but not in practice. The food was not great, the service wasn't good either. Mushy cold potatoes all around were disappointing. Do the grab and go instead. Yes, there were a TON of people there and definitely not enough pool staff to support the crowd. Chairs were being held very early in the morning. For the price of rooms right now I was expecting the same service we've had the numerous times we've stayed here previously.

The slide has no added benefit to our family. The stay was noisy with kids, pets and adults inside and outside the hotel. No enforcement, whatsoever, in insuring masks were worn. Food service was horrible. Price was way too high for the quality of the facility. And it has been are "go to" place in the dessert for a number of years.

We had a great time hanging out at the pools. Room was clean. No issues and all the employees were friendly and helpful whenever I needed to visit the front desk or had a question. Weather was a plus for the pools.
