Hi, I would take the route through Hemet, it's a little less curvy and shorter than the route from Banning, but it is still mountain roads and if it is foggy it can be slow. Just take your time and drive safe. Part of this area being so beautiful and such a special getaway is the fact that it isn't super easy to get here. We are fully booked this weekend, but if you check idylodging you can see what is still available.
