It pains me to give such a negative review, but the fact of the matter is that the neglect we saw made it fall short of an average night stay. Which is a shame, because with some good TLC and attention from the management, this...More
Arrival was very friendly and had a parking space marked in front of the room. The rooms were cozy and romantic. The beds were comfortable and a cute faux heater heated the room. A balcony out back looked out over the woods. The shower floor...More
My husband and I had our 1 year anniversary getaway here. I booked a regular queen room, pet friendly because we had to bring our dog. This place doesn't charge extra fees for bringing a dog which was unlike all the other places we looked...More
We loved it here. We had read the good and bad reviews and honestly don't understand the bad ones. Look, if you're expecting the Ritz, or even a Sheraton/Marriot, you won't like it here; but if you are looking for a cute cabin in the...More
the cabins were very comfortable, cute and well appointed. We liked the small balcony off the kitchen it was a great place to sit and take in the view. There was very loud music coming from somewhere across the valley - quite beyond the control...More

First of all, I do not recommend this hotel... There are others in the area for the same price, or even lower, that are WAY better maintained and managed and you will thank me later. See my review of Strawberry Creek Bunkhouse and Stone Creek Lodge, which I highly recommend.
That being said, the kitchenette is basically as follows: a sink, microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, electric tea kettle, glasses, mugs, silverware, some plates and bowls. If you ask, they have pots and pans and a hot plate available at the front desk. I would not recommend any serious cooking here (maybe reheating last nights leftovers would be totally feasible:). If you are looking for a place to cook, I would again recommend the Stone Creek Lodge, they have a communal fully equipped dream kitchen!! Seriously, I am a chef, and this kitchen was gorgeous!!!
Have fun, Idyllwild is a blast, but choose your stay at your own risk:)
