We booked a room at the Pine woods Resort in Idyllwild ca and this place is closed. We searched Dog friendly hotels on Trip advisor in Idyllwild and found this place. It popped up showing "1 room left" so we booked it. We drove up to Idyllwild to play in the snow and after a long day we went back...

First time ever disputing or providing a negative review. Not something I ever want to do but we had an unfortunate experience with this business. I made a reservation via Booking.com (which I have used to great success and satisfaction previously). I did make a mistake on the October 2016 dates and quickly canceled. The reservation and cancellation occurred in...

I have had great luck with Trip Advisor reviews all over the world. Not this time. I admit, since it was a fairly local place and we were only staying one night before picking our daughter up at Idyllwild Art School, I didn't read through more than a few lines of the most recent reviews. My mistake. When we arrived,...

It was my first visit to this intimate hotel. My cousin was there, and he told me, it was the perfect place to propose .. I wanted a special place, a supportive team. My cousin made the reservation. He told me, that they would take care of everything. They did. I Theresa sent me a very welcoming email, asking about...

Needed a vacation. We had such a romantic stay at the Pine woods Resort, last time, that we decided to try again. I usually say, that if you have a good dream, why to spoil it by trying again?? Buy I took a chance. We headed there, a group of close friends. Theresa sent me a welcoming email with my...

Warning: these people are crooks! I made a reservation through booking.com, but cancelled the same day. It was a free cancellation, and the reservation was originally for two weeks later. Days after I cancelled, Pine Woods Resort took a total of $385 (in 3 separate installments)out of my bank account. I tried to contact these people through email and phone,...

This is a motel of the 1950s era with a parking lot in the front. Pros: Friendly staff. Wine and cheese platter upon arrival. Fluffy pillows and duvet. Bottled water in the frig, toiletries in bath. Room had a sofa, chair, tv, and kitchenette with microwave, dorm frig, sink and basic plates and utensils. Clean, ample size suite despite the...

I am a script writer, who decided to take a break and write a 2nd draft, if you know what I mean. A friend told me about this charming new resort. I called, and - never looked back. I got a nice room with a fire place, and such nice colors. Upon my arrival, The hotel team offered a bottle...

Travailing along needing a place to stay for the night and we saw a sign for the Pine Woods Resort. What a find! This is a small simple place and in the off season we were one of only two spaces taken. There was fire wood stacked for us, fire starters, great internet, clean campgrounds even a friendly dog to...

My problem was not with the room, not with the fact that I had to park on the street because they didn't plow their lot; not even with the elusive staff that almost never answer the telephone. No, my problem is that I saw that I was charged twice for a one-night stay. That's TWICE on occasions that occurred two...
