I gave Pasea a 1 star review back in May after I had taken 8 friends for my 50th birthday. Paul Maddison, the general manager, reached out to me and made it a point to speak with me over the phone. We talked about my experience and he was amazingly helpful and understanding. I went back on my own in June and it was a completely different experience. My favorite part as a local was sleeping with the balcony door open and listening to the surf. I had a blast at the pool and my server Cynthia took excellent care of me. I highly recommend a visit. If you can, stay in room 836 and watch the waves from your shower. Thank you Paul for all your help!

My family and I checked in for a couple of nights. Had an amazing experience the minute we arrived. The valet staff was so courteous. The moment you walk into Paséa hotel & spa. You enter paradise, so relaxing ambiance, smells so good! The front desk agents were so friendly. Management greeted us. The rooms have an incredible balcony view.! Comfortable beds. The pool and restaurant are absolutely dreamy, I felt like I was in a true California beach club. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. My kids loved every moment spent. I most definitely come back to stay here.

The pool feels very secluded even though it is next to the highway. We sat in the round lounges and our server Ivie was very attentive and helpful! The service was amazing and I would highly recommend a stay here!

Wife and I have always wanted to stay here as we loved the outward vibe and the connection to the mall next door and the access to the beach. We decided on a staycation for our 24th anniversary and since the hotel was offering a reasonable package of restaurant credit, no parking cost and no Resort fee we thought we would spend the dough and go relax in HB! Well. First room they checked us into smelled like smoke so they moved us. That night they checked guest in at 2:30 in the morning they probably were a carry over from their night club scene. Needless to say it was a party on the room next to us from 2:30am-5am. Not hating I wish I had it in me! If your expecting relation by the Ocean think more Vegas pool scene till 2am right outside your room. The pool and their Tanner Tree House are pumping. Again not hating just not what we were looking for. We had a Tanners GC for $100. Unfortunately like many business’s they are extremely short handed and the service/food quality really reflected it. It’s a bummer because I do feel like it could have been good. My suggestion. Looking for a party atmosphere this is Vegas in HB. Looking to “chill out” and keep your door open at night to get the ocean breeze you might want to go further down the coast. Nothing overly bad here it’s a great property just know what you are getting and even with all the discounting it was still about $700/night. Staff was great.

First off very familiar with the their brand of hotels our go to is Estancia La Jolla hotel & spa located in La Jolla CA. So my wife and I decided to make it a Pasea stay and save on the drive time, visiting from Las Vegas & let me tell you we work at high end Las Vegas resorts but Pasea blew us away from the location, cleanliness & staff were superb. Views from guest room & let alone Tanner’s & the tree house by Tanners’s both food and drink experiences were amazing. Definitely will be back for a visit this October also for those of you who post bad reviews please stay home, you’re miserable and actually you probably carry a entitlement persona and you know who you are. Also management please recognize these outstanding individuals on your team: Kyle valet Roland valet Peter Bellman Phil front desk Front desk staff in general House keeping staff Tanner’s/ Treehouse staff awesome Cheers!! Room 730: 9/14/21-9/17/21
