I had flown in from FL, arriving in the early evening. I was tired and in need of a good night's sleep. I came to the right place! I was warmly welcomed, efficiently checked in, and obtained a glass of wine (room service only). The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and had probably been newly remodeled since it looked brand new. The bed was very comfortable and gave me the good night's sleep I needed as I began a cross-country drive back to FL with my daughter. We will be coming back to CA twice before year's end and we will stay at this awesome hotel both times. See you soon and thank you for making me feel so welcome and at home.
Our Queen studio room was simple but nicely furnished and spacious..... they have a cozy bar leading to a nice restaurant with a surprisingly impressive menu. I wouldn’t hesitate to take my friends and family back there again... friendly and helpful staff... the shuttle ride to the casino was pleasantly short and convenient
Awesome place to stay very quiet and peaceful .This is a very nice hotel close to san manuals casino walmart accross street and 7 eleven down the street with gas pumps.Hotel has staff that are very nice, polite and helpful, security is on site 24 7 .Hotel is monern, rooms are very nice beautiful batrooms and living quarters downstairs in hotel is dining and bar area, computer with printer i really like bear springs hotel in highland i rate them mid 9s close to 10 adult place in my opion thank you mike
We booked for 2 deluxe rooms with 2 queen-sized beds each. Rooms were very spacious and well-kept. Toilet and bath were also squeaky clean. Toothbrush set needs to be requested though. Very warm frontdesk staff, with special mention that they have Filipino staff, which makes it more warm and welcoming. Excellent location since, establishments are just walking distance - Burger King, Starbucks, Ralphs, and yes even Ross (for some bargain shopping). This hotel is a good alternative if you are going to Big Bear but does not want to stay there. It's just a 45-minute drive going up Big Bear.
We couldn’t get up to Big Bear for our family trip due to road closures and a winter storm. So we stayed at Bear Springs Hotel to wait out the storm and see if the roads opened the following day. Thank goodness they had rooms available such short notice! Very friendly staff, clean, updated and nice rooms. We had thanksgiving dinner at the hotel restaurant The Bistro, which was really good! The only reason I didn’t give five stars is no one that works there is from the area so they have no idea what’s around or have any information to give guests about the mountain, the surrounding areas etc....so fend for yourself and don’t ask hotel staff for directions or any information on what’s around.
