Considering that it is right on the plaza and just a couple doors down from Matheson's Restaurant, this was a great value. We managed to book a room on very short notice and management made sure that the wine and cheese would be available for us upon arrival even though it was after their serving time. The front desk was able to secure us a reservation at Matheson's as well for the same evening. It is an older hotel, so the room may not have been as quiet as a newer place (mechanical and AC noise), but overall the room was comfortable and met our expectations, and the price was great considering the location. High ceilings with a skylight that had a shade that we opted not to close, and there is a common balcony outside the upstairs rooms where you can sit. Great breakfast in the upstairs dining room. The room has a lovely looking fireplace that I was warned did not work before I finalized my reservation, but since it was a 90 degree day, who cares?
My husband and I booked a last-minute stay in Healdsburg and were delighted to stay at the Inn on the Plaza. It is well-run, spotlessly clean, has wonderful amenities, secure bicycle storage, and a great walkable location. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with robes, toiletries, water, wine glasses and corkscrew. The wine and cheese in the evening were excellent, and the breakfast was superb (quiche, coffeecake, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee). All of the staff members were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back.
The room was spacious, with an outdoor seating area. Very comfortable bed. Gas Fireplace, Good sized closet and drawers. Very nice bathroom.
"Picnic Basket" delivered every day was a very nice touch including wine for 2 with Cheese and Crackers.
The Breakfast was included and was delivered to the room every morning at the time desired. Quiche one day and Waffles the next, both delicious. Both with Coffee.
Only downsides were, a) no coffee in the room! ack! b) we had a Customer Service Issue that was resolved promptly, however no adjustment to the bill was offered and after asking a couple of times it was eventually adjusted.
All in all though we will be back.

Great location, friendly staff who make you feel like one of the family. Wine and cheese each evening a nice touch. Our room had mainly internal walls which made it dark, and view from balcony at the back wasn't great, but room was spacious.

The location could not be better. The hotel is an old Wells Fargo Stage coach repair shop. It has bikes (just ok ones, but they were fine), and it had a nice freshly cooked breakfast that started at 8am. The coffee was available by about 6:30. We enjoyed our stay, but one of the wine tastings (which they do every evening), the bar where they put the food was covered in ants. It killed the wine tasting and the subsequent breakfasts for us. However, there is a nice French bakery very close that had one of the best chocolate croissants that I have ever had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza is a charming place to stay. Our room was very comfortable and the location is perfect. The breakfast and the afternoon snacks were excellent. We want to thank Jules for making our stay so perfect. Jules was the perfect hostess. I hope Management knows that you have a gem of an employee.

I just stayed at this hotel for the first time and was very pleased. The location on the plaza was excellent. It was two doors down from the Matheson restaurant which was excellent. My room #3 facing the street was very quiet. Couldn't hear anything. The bed was firm, but comfortable. My room had a jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower. Breakfast was just OK. Overall, I loved it and would visit again. Staff was very helpful.

Beautiful stay on the square in Healdsburg! The Inn is right on the main square, surrounded by excellent restaurants and boutique shops. The rooms are beautiful, this was my second stay and found rooms consistent. We had a electric fireplace and it was very nice on a winter night. Bed was very comfortable with premium bedding. Very nice add is some bottled water included in the room. All the staff are very welcoming and attentive. There was a very nice wine hour, small snacks and lovely local vintner hosting. We got a great recommendations to Valette, and The Matheson, we ended up at The Matheson only because Valette was fully booked, but their staff were amazing on recommendations for drinks at Burdock. Enjoy all the local places.

Healdsburg Inn is an excellent Inn fronting the plaza. You’ll get a bed & breakfast type experience with a fresh meal prepared onsite by a chef, nice rooms, friendly staff, and a nightly wine tasting hosted by local wineries. You’re within walking distance of multiple wineries and excellent restaurants.

The Inn continues to live up to their well deserved reputation. Front desk staff are very helpful with suggestions on wineries, food or anything else you would need. Fabulous complimentary breakfast cooked fresh each morning and a nice glass of wine early evening. We will be back.

Great hotel. Highly recommend. Jennifers was super helpful with great suggestions and ideas for our visit. She really knows her stuff. The complementary wine tastings were great as well as the breakfast. Well done!

We had a large room with a king bed, fireplace and access to a veranda. The room was very comfortable, updated with all the amenities needed. Housekeeping was excellent. The morning breakfast was good although the addition of a protein would have been nice. One morning was pancakes, another french toast, and Quiche on one day. The wine tastings at night were also nice. Location of the hotel is great; right on the square so it's easy to walk to bars, shops, restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
