I had made our decision to stay here based on the reviews and was looking forward to having individual happy hours prepared for guests during their stay. We had visited Healdsburg before and stayed at another B&B and enjoyed the happy hours so I was disappointed to hear a day before our arrival that the new owners would not be providing guests this amenity. They did greet us with a glass of wine when we arrive and the new host was nice. We stayed in the Tiffany room (deluxe king) and it had it’s own private entrance. The room was ok and a bit drab in decor. The breakfasts were nothing that had a wow factor. The good things about this place is that there was parking behind the B&B, the lounge chairs around the pool are comfy ( the pool wasn’t heated). The location is great and only a short walk to Main Street.

Lucy and Archie were wonderful hosts. Our lovely king room included an enclosed sun room where we could eat our take out meals from Willies and Bravas. Cozy fireplace, spa tub, delicious homemade breakfasts, evening charcuterie plate w/ wine and an in house massage room made this stay truly memorable. We enjoyed a local bike ride and stroll around the square. Everything is within easy walking distance, including CVS, bakery, wine tasting and restaurants. Check in/out was totally contact free with easy directions, common areas were wiped down constantly and guests were kept separate and all wore face masks. We appreciated the attention to detail to keep the INN Covid free.

My husband and I had a delightful overnight at the Camilla Inn, where the hosts, Lucy and Archie couldn’t have been more welcoming. Such a short time , but the memories are lingering. Our room was comfy and cozy and warm, we enjoyed the lit fire. We ordered food from town, brought it back and ate in the parlor. Our every need need was met and more, these kind of special spots are not that usual and we appreciated their attention to details.

I had visited the Camellia Inn a few times before my September 2020 visit. Things were different as the Corona Virus was still going strong, although outdoor dining and wine tasting were open, Lucy is the best hostess and she had us sitting outside by the pool for both our breakfast and happy hour. For the guests, It was a wonderful way to social distance, yet, enjoy good food and conversation.I think for Lucy, it meant much more work, as she was taking breakfast orders and running back and forth to the kitchen, But, you will never hear a complaint from Lucy. She is upbeat, personable and eager to help her guests. I am planning to return in March,@ The Camellia Inn is 2 blocks from the town square and I walked everywhere. It was such a great outing, I visited wine tasting rooms along the square as well as having delicious meals( Lucy’s picks). I tasted wine at Portalupi and Thumbprint and enjoyed each experience. I ventured out to Dry Creek and had lovely tastings at Mazzaco and Truet-Hurst. Everyone needs to experience Healdsburg and the Camellia Inn. Just go and have the best time. Lucy will assist you.
