We live in San Francisco and went up to stay at the Hotel Healdsburg for an escape break from the pandemic. I love this hotel. So many little details thought throughout- from the hardwood floors to the bedside tables to the breakfast experience. There was a ton of "surprise and delight" moments, like the Friday evening music in the courtyard and welcoming wine in the room. The concierge went ABOVE AND BEYOND all weekend long. The whole weekend was a reminder that you don't need to go far to have a wonderful travel experience. This is a place you can come back to again and again. ps: They were super organized about all the COVID-19 things and I felt safe.

This was our first post-COVID overnight trip. It is a different travel experience, but I guess we need to get used to it. This hotel is very modern and trendy in design; wood floors, wide hallways, lots of glass, stuff in the room I did not know how to use, big open shower, and the like. I liked the fact that all of the food/water in the room was complimentary and the complimentary wine was a very good bottle of wine. Breakfast was included (outdoor dining or pick up and eat in your room.) Parking was also included in the rate I had. It is walking distance to all of the good restaurants in town (which were open for outdoor dining only.) Having said this, the rate is pretty pricey.

We stayed here on our honeymoon. Gorgeous hotel with super comfortable rooms. The whole interior was very inviting. The bathrooms were unreal. Nice shower with separate soaking tub. Great service from the valet to the cleaning crew.

We were looking forward to an awesome experience for the reputation and price but were underwhelmed with the room assigned and the attitude of the front desk. Were also disappointed with the service at the Dry Creek Kitchen especially after mentioning during reservation that dinner was for a special occasion. Expected 5 star quality service but was 2-3 star at best. Beautiful property to stay in and great location. Hope they hire more experienced front desk management and restaurant management.

We offer a sincere apology for the multiple challenges you incurred during your most recent stay with us. Your feedback is vital for us to measure our performance and improve the experience for our guests. We care very much for the comfort of our guests, and do our best to deliver that. After speaking we did a comp upgrade to a larger suite to better accommodate your family. We are upgrading our bathrooms this year and when asked the remodeling team did halt their work, as the noise was bothersome. It is our hope that we have the opportunity to host you once again on your next visit to Healdsburg. Kind regards, Sarah B

We stayed as locals for air conditioning and the pool. No disappointment there, both were excellent. We dined at a sister property, Spoonbar, the food was excellent. The complimentary wine in the room was a very nice touch as was the breakfast. The coffee not so good, easily fixed if the property desires.
