We had no idea what to expect when we booked this inn. We were picking up our wine order from Mazzacco, one of the Wilson family wineries, with our friends and we all decided to stay there rather than drive home to Sacramento the same day. We loved everything about our stay. People who worked there were friendly , helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast the next day was amazing! We'll be back!

We loved the Grape Leaf Inn. It is well located for seeing the Healdsburg downtown area and also ample winery tasting experiences. Several contacts with info were sent to us well before we arrived as we were staying on Mon and Tues and they let us know ahead that many of the restaurants are closed on those nights. So with the heads up they gave us, we were able to check and made reservations at two excellent places that worked well for us. Also, the staff arranged for tasting appts when we had chosen the vineyards we wished to visit. Nice breakfast, lovely decor, could not have been happier other than we wished we would have stayed longer.

This is a great B&B walkable to great shops, bars and restaurants. The room and bathroom were spacious and the included breakfast and happy hour were wonderful. Many great sitting areas inside the main floor living area as well as the wrap around deck. There is also a small heated pool on the grounds to unwind and relax. The staff was accommodating to all requests...I highly recommend The Grape Leaf Inn.

This was our first time staying at a B&B. It was wonderful! There was a homey quality to it. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great beds, tasty homecooked breakfast. Our room was by the check in area so we could hear people during the day when in room. Didn't bother us, but suspect rooms upstairs more quiet. I mention this only as a fyi. We are glad we were able to stay there.

Very pleasant stay at the Grape Leaf Inn. Nice and friendly staff. Clean property and very quiet. Can use a little upgrade in the bathroom specifically in the Pinot Noir suite just little dated. Breakfast served every morning to get you ready for some wine tasting. Good coffee is a plus! I’d come back and stay here again, since it is walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and bars in town.

When we arrived, there was one woman at the front desk on the phone with a lengthy reservation (she was on the phone for over 20 minutes). When she got off the phone, we were given a key and escorted to the bottom of the stairs and told that our room was upstairs. She could have put the person on the phone on hold for 15 seconds and done that for us. The rooms on the second floor are all small and hard to maneuver if you are of average height due to the slanted ceilings. I was hunched over getting from the bedside to the bathroom or door. The linens (bed and bath) were in need of replacement. There were stains on bed coverings and other upholstered pieces in the room. The rugs were old and nasty. We did not have bath mats and when we requested them by going to the front desk, were questioned about looking for them in the bathroom. Once reassured that we did indeed look for and did not find them, were given a bath mat. The bathroom was very very tiny although the shower was a reasonable size but there were weird holes in walls. The common areas are in much better updated repair than the rooms. The breakfast in the morning was AWFUL! My husband went down before I was ready so he could get coffee and read the paper. A server came up and asked how many in his party and he replied 2. She promptly came back and set down 2 breakfasts and left. He had her pick mine up when she came back in the room. When I came down 15 minutes later the breakfast was set back in front of me. It consisted of some scrambled eggs (cold), 3 slices of not at all ripe tomatoes, and biscuits with sausage gravy. A very weird breakfast for wine country in California. There was also a tablespoon of yogurt with a half teaspoon of jelly and half teaspoon of granola. We couldn't get out of there fast enough, glad it was just one night. We chose it for the location as we booked late as part of another trip further north. Avoid this place.

The staff couldn’t be nicer. Beds are comfy and I just love the porch and spa pool. Been there twice, and will return many more times I’m sure. So many good restaurants within easy walking distance. Faves are Barndiva, Willi’s and Bravas de tapas.

The Grape Leaf is a perfect, cozy home in a perfect location that allows you to walk to everything in Healdsburg but still stay on a quiet side street. Breakfast was delicious every morning (and very filling, which was good fuel for a day of wine tasting), and Cindy and Nicte went above and beyond to hook us up with tours, tastings, reservations, and more. Healdsburg is the perfect Sonoma town to call home for awhile. We spent one day taking in all of Healdsburg, another packed full of wine tastings, and another traveling around Sonoma seeing nearby redwood forests, the Sonoma coast, and other great small towns (we really liked Sebastopol too). It was a perfect trip and the Grape Leaf served as the perfect home base to return to each night. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely time at the Grape Leaf Inn. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, free parking. Breakfasts for the most part were great. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use a hook or towel rack and a small table for toiletries. The armoire was only long enough for a suit jacket not a dress. A hook nearby would be nice.
