Our Country Cottages are perfect for guests who want to stay on beautiful 15 acre vineyard in a prime location near wineries & restaurants. The Cottages are just 1.5 miles from Healdsburg Plaza...3 minutes in the car or walk it in 20 minutes. Incredible location, great value and gated privacy in a newly remodeled fresh farmhouse overlooking estate vineyards and a storybook studio cottage with views that quite literally go on for miles. The Cottages have organic Coyochi bedding, kitchen & gas grill so you can dine in. Enjoy meals on the deck and watch the sunset on the vineyards or linger under a blanket of stars. Everything is close by so you won't spend a lot of time in the car. Healdsburg is a friendly small town without traffic jams. There are many local wineries just .5 miles away, as is the Russian River and canoe rentals to add to your adventures. Truly the wine country experience. This is a place where you can make wonderful memories with family and friends. Treat yourself!

My wife and I spent two nights in the smaller cottage. I would call this the Healdsburg hideaway as it is a great place to run to and spend some time with your spouse, a few good books, a bottle of wine and some cheese. The cottage has peek-a-boo views overlooking a huge vineyard. Very peaceful. While the cottage is a bit dark inside, the wrap-around porch always offers a nice spot to rest with the proper amount of sun or shade. The side porch features a gas grill, picnic table and four chairs for dining alfresco. Great place to hang out together. The host gave us a few extra pillows, and was very helpful and hospitable. She seems like a pretty busy person, but was more than willing to help with what we needed. There is a wonderful garden off the parking lot entry - settled by up an accurate expectation of the overall stay - beauty, peace and quiet. It is a bit of a trek to Downtown Healdsburg. I don't think most people would find it walkable. On the other hand, it is just a short drive to the central plaza, and the restaurants there are wonderful. Overall, this is a great place to stay, particularly if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Highly recommended.

Stayed in cottage #1 for four days in August 2016. Peaceful, calming, stress-free relaxation. Charming, friendly, thoughtful host Leighann. Hummingbirds. Butterflies. Fruit trees. Grapevines. Wine. Bliss.

We stayed here two nights at the end of a week-long bike trip through the Wine Country (known by me now as the "Food Country"). This was a delightful little cottage to stay in! The views are amazing and I could sit all day on the porch looking at the vineyards, but there's too much fun stuff to do and too much good food to eat in Healdsburg! It's a great biking town with fantastic restaurants and bakeries. Leighann is a wonderful, friendly hostess and gave us lots of information and help. This place is amazing! We will definitely stay here if we come back to Healdsburg. This would be a fabulous place for a wedding too!

This is a quaint and quiet spot that offers respite from the winery touring. Great kitchen utensils and cookware to make own meals if desired. Has comfy bed and large living room space. Very pleasant hosts who had suggestions for grocery store and some restaurants. A great alternative to hotel!

We stayed two nights at the tail end of our holiday and had by then accumulated a mountain of luggage which threatened to fill our quaint two-guest cottage, but luckily owner Walt and his large barn were on hand to rehouse them. Both he and Barbara, who live in the larger house nearby were helpful yet un-intrusive and we spent a relaxing time enjoying both the property and nearby Healdsburg (the centre of which lies some 2 km away). Although it isn’t large, the cottage makes up in amenities and charm what it lacks in space. There’s a fully formed kitchenette equipped with all the necessary utensils, appliances and basic foodstuffs, along with a large, gas BBQ on the deck outside. A ceiling fan, small round table, comfortable double bed, gas fire, cable TV, stereo, free wifi and a compact shower room/toilet complete the picture. The best thing about the cottage though is the wraparound deck with its tables and views over the garden and vines. Sasha the friendly cat may well pay you a visit though she isn’t allowed inside. The cottage is surrounded by immaculate yet romantic gardens with a profusion of mature trees, flowering borders and birds, overlooked by the large barn (over 100 years old). The gated estate consists of fifteen acres of vineyards (mostly sauvignon blanc which is sold to Rodney Strong apparently) through which visitors are welcome to stroll. A large parking caters to guests from both the cottage and the Wine Country Home which is also for rent (and sleeps 6), as indeed is the entire property for weddings and other events. Our elegant, spotless and peaceful hideaway was excellent value for money, especially in pricey Healdsburg and was by far the most charming cottage we stayed in during our trip. My only slight niggles were the distant rumble from the highway which faded overnight and the lack of a light switch above the bed. All in all though, this lovely cottage and stay were the most memorable of the trip.
