The hot tub grotto is sweet. Terry is better than a private butler. Eve is a pleasure to chat with. Library has some classic botany tomes. Location is a block from downtown, so most things are within easy walking distance. Breakfast is generous and delightful. Highly recommend staying here if headed to Half Moon Bay.

We loved our stay! They go above and beyond, making sure everything is comfortable and sanitary. The hot tub has a sign up sheet to ensure you have a private and socially distant experience. Great advice on local attractions from the host. Super romantic option and great location as you can walk to tons of restaurants. Stay here if you can! The owners take pride in this place and have done so for decades.

Booked with my girlfriend for 2 days and 2 nights. Arriving was a little confusing because the doorbell and phone numbers weren't working, but Terry eventually found us outside the door. He welcomed us in (with a mask on), checked that we were who we said we were ,and showed us to our room and the rest of the B&B. Then he asked us about our breakfast preferences and let us know all other miscellaneous rules. We stayed in the Baroque Rose Room, which was a cute and tiny room. Just enough space to really sleep, eat, and shower. The shower was a little hard to figure out, and the hose wasn't the best, but it definitely gets the job done. At times it was hard to locate staff if we needed something, but maybe we just didn't cross paths enough. However at times when we did find staff, they were attentive in giving us everything we needed. The breakfast on both days were delicious and filling. I'd highly recommend you make sure you're hungry in the morning for it! I'd definitely recommend booking this place if you want to be taken care of. They are practicing great social distancing and cleaning practices to make anyone feel comfortable. Make sure to bring house slippers!

Sorry, about the doorbell, I think it's finally fixed. The other five rooms are much larger than the Baroque. I'm not hard to get a hold of if you just call. A crumbling rubber washer kept clogging the showerhead, sorry, It has been replaced. We have gone back to providing flip flops and sanitizing them between guests. I'm very glad you enjoyed our inn and I hope you return soon. Warmly, Eve and Terry

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The room and inn was very clean and accommodating with whatever we needed; dinner reservations, activity suggestions. Due to Covid breakfast was served in the room and it was very nice! The inn is off the Main Street but still with easy access to downtown and the beach! We would come back!

This place is beautiful both inside and out, and has perhaps the best amenities I have ever encountered in a bed and breakfast/hotel/inn. The attention to detail and the fancy little extras are just perfect. Our room felt like something out of a dream and the location can't be beat. Breakfast was divine. Terry was a wonderful host and his collection of DVDs is like nothing I've ever seen!
