In an area where affordable AND comfortable accommodation are hard to find, The Inn at Maverick's seems to fill a void. This is a simple place in the Princeton area - no grand driveway and actually a little tricky to find. But once here it fits the bill. We had a ground floor room with a private patio overlooking the... More

Plus: Great room on the second floor with a great view of the harbor. Clean and well-furnished with quality stuff. Gas fireplace. Comfy king-size bed. Open the front door and the sliding glass door and enjoy the ocean air breeze through the room. Minus: That damn foghorn made me close the sliding glass door. No tea in the room. OK,... More

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Inn at Maverick's. It's very dog friendly, with a little private yard right outside out sliding glass door and a little patio. It's right on the harbor. There was a snack basket for us, as well as for our Lacey girl.

This is the second time we have stayed at Inn at Mavericks and we will definitely stay again in the future. Great location - close to San Francisco (30 mins or so) without the hubbub of the big city. You can walk to just about anything you want to see in town. The staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant.... More

The Inn at the Mavericks is lovely. It was exceptionally quiet (except for the appropriate fog horn), immaculately clean and a gorgeous view. The cleaning ladies were very accommodating and helpful. When we arrived at the Inn early to see what time we could check in, our room was made ready for us while we sat on the patio and... More

There was a problem with the TV in the Mavericks room. This problem was with the cable box itself, not the actual TV. The picture was set to "ZOOM" whenever it was on an HD channel. I know because my parents have Dish Network and I've resolved a similar issue with their TV. I didn't get a response from the... More

First things first: 3-star rating notwithstanding, I enjoyed my short stay. While there are several 4-star elements about the Inn at Mavericks (see below), I didn't give it an overall 4-star rating because I am quite picky and some things about it are, honestly, not 4-star ready. The non-4-star elements include the very thin entryway door with the cheap lock,... More

If you are a light sleeper or do not like the 24/7 sound of a loud foghorn while you are trying to sleep, I strongly suggest staying somewhere else. There is a very brief mention of the foghorn buried in the website, but not prominent enough for us to catch it or we wouldn't have stayed here. The WiFi was... More

This is a small Inn right on the water of Half Moon Bay. It's just down a back road, but away from the traffic and hub-bub of the more commercial accommodations nearer to HW 1. We discovered it from a friend four years ago, and it's now the regular annual getaway on my significant other's birthday. (Same room next year... More

The rooms are wonderful, the views from the rooms spectacular, the amenities all you might need. What more could you want in an oceanside spot. Really a perfect get away or vacation spot for exploring the Bay Area coast.
