We stayed at this hotel for three nights. Staff are pleasant and accomodating. Check in/out process is quick and easy. Our room is spacious with a living area and fireplace. The bathroom is spacious as well. Bath amenities are adequate. There is an in room safe, fridge and espresso machine. Our room is clean and well maintained. Linens and towels are clean and fresh. King bed and pillows are comfortable. There is a small balcony with a view of the boat harbor and the ocean. Parking is free. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Good value in Half Moon Bay.

We stayed in a seaview suite. The room was very pretty and confortable. Lot of place for the 3 of us. Nice sea view from the balcony. The road in front of the hotel is pretty busy during the day but calm after diner time. We slept well (the only annoying sound was a marin buoy in the port making a regular noise). A few restaurants around but they were very busy and with Covid we preferred to have our meals brought in our room - good room service. Overall a very good stay.

Room Tip: Prefer the suites if you can. Many regular rooms are above the parking entrance from what we saw...

We took our chances and showed up to see if they had a room. They had a room facing the harbor. The best thing about this hotel was the deep bathtub where you can open the French blinds and look out to the beach. They had a sitting area where you can watch tv or hang out. They had a bar area and fireplace, but since it’s summer, we couldn’t use it. The bed was comfortable too. The decor is a little dated, but the bathroom looked updated. They had a sound machine, so I put on the ocean while I fell asleep. We had our door open and you can hear the fog horn all night. It was great! The spa wasn’t open, but it was still worth it because went down the street for a foot massage.

I stood here during a business trip to the area. I reserved a Deluxe Harbor Suite with views of Half Moon Bay Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. The suite featured a deep soaking tub and a separate granite shower. The Suite had a king size bed with a pillow top mattress which was very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The suite also featured a fireplace, a Large HD TV, a private balcony and a separate sitting area which includes a wet bar. The area is quiet at night and the only noise you’ll hear at is the fog horn in the background. There are a few restaurants and a nice bar within walking distance to the hotel.

OK, if you are planning to get any kind of sleep, forget this place! I could swear there is a bowling alley around my room because from 4pm-11pm all I heard was clunking noises and foot traffic around me! Oh, except for the fire alarm that made us evacuate for 5 minutes...probably due to the many annoying children running around! For this price I expected way more...or should I say "less" noise!
