We stayed here on a very busy weekend and like many here, it wasn't as nice as we expected for the price - but that was our expert for every hotel in the area that weekend! This is a motel-style place, with separate entrances for each unit. The rooms are definitely in need of an update, as the initial feeling when you walk in is that they are run down just because they are so out of date. However, they are very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. We had a room with a private hot tub (not a Jacuzzi bath tub but a two person hot tub), which was just what we needed after a long hike! As long as you are ok with an initial feeling of run down (from faded carpet and less than fashionable bedspreads), the size and comfort of these rooms is great. The biggest issue we had was with checkin - the normal check in facility is "under construction" - but with broke windows and a distinctly run down and uncomfortable feeling. The actual check in is now in a repurposed room, which feels a little odd. All in all though, this was a good stay in a nice location, just a little outdated and needs a little love.

I realized it was a weekend but $259 a night for this place was a bit on the spending side in my opinion. Locations great service is good I’ll be at the first night there was no heat in my room because they didn’t light the pilot light. I think that should’ve been cause for a price adjustment by itself for sleeping while you’re freezing. Soaps and shampoos are actually top of the line but I was a little worried with the floor mat towel was disgustingly dirty thankfully it was only used for my feet. Location is great but they’re going through renovation due to all the flood damage of the last years storms. Can’t fault them on that but excellent way to start the renovation program thanks to mother nature.

We arrived when it was SUPER hot, and there was no air conditioning!!! Additionally, the upstairs guests were super loud with their music and regular pounding on the floors all night long until after midnight. Furnishings are dated and not top quality. There was no ironing board, and the coffee machine wasn't working properly. I informed the housekeepers. One (didn't speak English) told the other she would "check on the it," but nothing happened. The pool needs renovations. It's a sad shade of green and completely uninviting. The bed felt old and cheap, but had tidy linens. Everything looked relatively clean except the grout on the bathroom floors. A+ for good water temperature and pressure. We are well seasoned travelers who take at least 3 vacations a year. I don't consider this a vacation as we were simply here for a wedding and would not have been bothered by the room as much if we hadn't paid a premium per night!

This poor hotel is trying to come back from severe flooding it endured over winter. Their website with its ‘glory days’ pictures is quite deceiving. No comfy lobby with fireplace (empty shell), No Tesla charger (I was told this ahead of time) and about 2/3 of the rooms had ‘condemned notices’ posted. The pool was in good working order and our room had all the creature comforts, but the grounds had a ways to go yet. Never did encounter any staff - phone/email correspondence with envelope taped to the temporary office door at our arrival.

I just stayed for an overnight weekend trip. The hotel was fine but there were a few experiences that should be noted: HEATING: The weather was very cold and rainy so we made sure to book rooms with fireplaces. When we checked in, we were told that the fireplaces were already on and that we would be walking into a pre-heated room. That was the case for our room but not for our friends who stayed next door. They had to call the front desk, they came over and tinkered with the system and got it working. We went for dinner and they returned to find it again turned off. Inside temperature in the room matched the outside, about 36 degrees, and damp. Since this was after front desk closes, around 9 pm, they had to use a phone stationed outside of the lobby to get an on-call help person, who came and "fixed" it again. I believe this time it worked but, by then, their stay had been negatively affected. Our room did not have the fireplace turning off but the noise was the issue; the gas fireplace has a fan and it was noisy. Also, when it would turn off when reaching the desired room temperature, it would make a loud "bang" that woke us up several times during the night. WIFI: very weak and there is little to no phone reception (we had Verizon and it was somehow OK but not great. Our friends had AT&T and had no service). We had to rely on the hotel Wifi which was slow and unreliable. SPA: we booked a 60 min deep tissue massage. It was OK but pricy ($150 for 60, which is higher than other local spas that usually have more amenities). Also, I would not call what we received "deep tissue". So, all in all, an OK experience and I would not mind booking again provided it is not in the peak of winter, And I would not get spa services unless prices go down.
