I'm going to start out by saying I do a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I book a place to stay at. That being said, this place did not disappoint at all. It far exceeded my expectations. From working with DeeAnn who went over and beyond to make sure our check-in and are stay was five star. She stayed later than her shift, upgraded us, gave us great suggestions & even offered things we might have forgotten to bring . The cottages we're cozy nuzzled in redwood trees. The rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We were talking how they would make a cute place to live in . The continental breakfast was great. So many options. The fact that the checkout is at noon let's you enjoy the property and your breakfast without having to rush. Close to wineries and restaurants. There's a Safeway a mile away where you can get things to make an amazing charcuterie which is what we did after a day of wine tasting. And they even have a fridge for you to keep your leftovers. Hands down one of the best places I stayed this year in my travels. I absolutely recommend this place and I am very picky. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the warm wellcome, the comfortable accommodations in a quiet, cozy atmosphere.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and checked in. We were told there was a fire pit and ingredients for s’mores. Once we had settled in to our clean and comfortable room we sat around the fire pit and made s’mores and some new friends. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable!!! There was plenty of choice at breakfast. Just wish we were there for longer.

The Cottages was the most relaxing place with a lovely large garden/courtyard in the center of the cottages. A fire pit in the garden is prepped for making S’Mores in the evening. The cottages are completely renovated, clean and comfortable.

Looks a little rustic from the road but give it a chance. Stayed in a duplex cabin surrounded by trees that was nicely refurbished. Great bed and pillows. Quiet. Small patio to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine. Community firepit. Thoroughly enjoyed. Great staff

What a beautiful property and the cabin is lovely. Very comfortable bed and room comes with an air conditioner and mini fridge . The view of the property is amazing the magi info dnt trees and plants you know the owners take pride in the property. The on-site manager and staff are so accommodating and extremely pleasant. A nice added Lux is the morning breakfast complete with everything and quite tasty . Certainly a gem of a place glad we found it

We stayed 3 nights. Nicer and quieter than we expected. Not fancy but very comfortable with everything you need. They do not provide daily maid service but will replace towels if needed. Good breakfast options, all you want, you can eat in the office area or take food to your room. Very conveniently located to downtown and attractions. Feels secure because the rooms are behind locked gates at night. Sufficient parking out front just off River Road. Good value for the cost.

Such a great choice for a weekend in Guerneville/Sonoma County. We’ve now stayed here three times during overnights from the Bay Area and it’s so great. Dog-friendly, conveniently located, nice people, excellent included breakfast, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and living rooms… what more could you ask for? It’s also very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend enough.

Visited for 2 nights for our 42nd anniversary. We were in the dog friendly cottage #2. It was very clean and cozy with comfy king size bed and nice large bathroom. It is a 25 minute walk in to downtown but we enjoyed stumptown right across street with taco truck daily for dinner. They set out a grab and go breakfast and coffee in the morning. They also set out s’mores by the fire pit at night which was fun. Really like this place and will return soon!

This place was perfect for our little getaway. Totally exceeded expectations. Cozy, super clean, check in was remote and seamless with clear instructions since we arrived after hours, walked into a room with the heater on after a chilly day (super thoughtful). Spotlessly clean, well stocked with amenities, I had a nice hot bath and climbed into the cozy bed with plenty of pillows. Cute little cabin courtyard set up, feels nostalgic, very green outside and close to town. Thank you so much for the lovely experience!

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Cottages on River Road. The grounds were zen-like with plants/flowers in the courtyard. The room was nicely appointed with a fridge and coffee maker (Keurig). Bed was comfy with a lot of pillows! Breakfast was a real treat with grab and go to include coffee/tea, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, keto bars, fruit, hard boiled eggs, and delicious steel-cut oatmeal with additional choices of toppings. The rooms can be noisy on the street side. Parking is also on the street (River Road). There is a washer/dryer/bags of ice in the center building for your convenience. The added bonus is their resident friendly cat who will greet you when you arrive!
