I just came back from there. Spent 3 days in San Francisco. I must say the view is second to NONE .. breathtaking in all words! You can hear the ocean waves and all is super quite and charming. The hotel is literally adjacent to main grocery store in Gualala in the heart of down town. The place definitely needs... More

The prior trip is documented on Trip Advisor complete with pictures. I suspect the ongoing problems are in part due to the lack of concern by the owners/managers. I love their location and the sound of surf at night. However, the last trip was a major disappointment. The flat screen and dvd player did not seem to be working. A... More

We were traveling up the California coast and happened by chance to find this lovely place to rest our heads for the night. Our room was spacious, had a fireplace, and an incredible view of the ocean and beach. It was absolutely lovely and i would highly recommend it.

We booked with Breakers Inn looking foreword to a get away. I have illnesses that I use medical marajuana for. I observed signs to not smoke I the room however, I did vape. Mind you no signs against vaping. The wifi didn't work, there were cobwebs all over the room, and in the glass track of the coffee table was... More

The web site shows this room as having 2 wingback chairs and a stool to get into what appears to be a very comfy bed. The stool was not there nor was it needed as the bed had no box spring but rather was a mattress on top of a piece of plywood on the bedframe. The 2 wingback chairs... More

I think the new owners are in way over their head. I have stayed here in the past, twice since the new management and the decline is very noticeable. They also purchased the Sandbar restaurant next door, probably a mistake. During this trip the condition of the property was noticeably worse than the last. There was a very large water... More

Very noisy, people making a lot of noise coming in at night. Then went into the room above us & kids yelling late at night. Couldn't contact mgmt without turning on lights, dialing correct #. Door shade doesn't cover, people can see in at the bottom. Shades don't drop correctly. Hard, awful pillows, bed a little tired...Toilet ran & chain... More

We have been staying at the Breakers for years. It's our go-to place for decompression. You can hear the waves 24/7 even with the windows closed. This trip was very disappointing. We chose the Cape Cod end unit. This unit was in need of updating and repair. A vanity light was out in the bathroom and the radiant heat did... More

We enjoy coming back to this hotel for the comfortable rooms with beautiful views from the large balcony and room. The rooms are light and aire. Though, the water is just below you, you will have to drive to the state park and walk a trail to get to the lovely long beach. Many places to eat within walking distance,... More

Enjoyed the setting and our overnight stay. Checked in late without a reservation, asked for and received a discount since several rooms were still available. The decor was "eclectic" to say the least - sort of thrift store eclectic. The building exterior needs maintenance - rusted gutters etc. The continental breakfast was barebones. The ocean view from the balcony was... More
