Clean motel with all the trimmings, but not fancy. The rooms have broad, unobstructed views of the water. Rooms have outdoor seating. You can hear the waves. The only drawback was that we could hear a fan noise (not certain where it was coming from) when we really just wanted hear the waves and the wind. Would stay here again;... More

FABULOUS place. Especially if you get the midweek price, along with the "third night half-price," but you do have to ASK for that! :) Others have already raved about the view, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, (especially Trina!) So I just wanted to say a big "amen!" to all of that! It was also surprisingly quiet and private, (other than... More

We stayed here while the rest of our group stayed in the campground. We will never stay in the campground again and many of the campers want to stay here next year. Stayed in room A2, two leather rocker recliners looking out big windows to the beautiful river, sand bar and ocean. The biggest jacuzzi tub I have ever seen.... More

Loved this place. It felt like a romantic getaway even though it was just an overnight stay. The view from our room was gorgeous, and the fireplace added that extra touch. Great place to go for a walk on the beach, or just sit out on your balcony and enjoy the scenery. Great little pizza place across the street, and... More

We love going to Gualala and we usually stay at a different place but this time we decided to stay here. We don't think we'll be staying at any other place the next time we visit. We stayed on the bottom floor and our view was amazing. The place is well kept and super clean. We especially enjoyed the spa... More

We spent our 26th Anniversary here and it was fantastic. Loved the in room fireplace the Jacuzzi tub and the amazing view of the ocean as well as the whales who were hanging out about 25 feet off shore. The staff was courteous, the room was clean the bed was comfortable and the weather was perfect for our romantic weekend!

I had heard good things about this place and was happy to find a room while traveling down route 1. We had a first floor room equipped with huge windows overlooking the water, a porch and a jacuzzi tub. They even stocked the fridge with sparkling cider, which was a unique touch. Bed was comfortable and room seemed very clean.... More

We stayed at the Seacliff on the Bluff at the end of a drive from Arcata down Hwy 1, en route to Point Reyes. The hotel was pleasant, clean, comfortable, and the views were STUNNING! We were traveling with one kid, and we were fine sharing a king, but this place is clearly for couples. Would love to come back... More

From the time I booked and throughout our stay, the service was excellent from the Sea Cliff staff, Dennise and Kathy. We were greeted and provided two fluffy, soft robes. When we opened the door to A3 room, all we could say is "WOW!". The view from all the picture windows was incredible. I spent alot of time watching the... More

We spent a couple nights at the Seacliff, and would definitely stay there again. First, the views are awesome--the mouth of the Gualala River and the Pacific Ocean. The room included a fireplace, a patio, jetted tub and a comfortable bed. It's awfully hard to beat the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. All of the people we... More
