After reading all bed reviews, just for better price, took risk to stay. Good experience with staff and room as per the price paid. No bugs! No dirt or filthy!! No smoke smell!!! King bed was really comfy and enjoyed with my girl friend. So don't rely on all the reviews.

Smokers area (two old office chairs) just outside rooms on first floor with people hanging out chatting and smoking all day and night. Noisy guests running up and down the stairs all night and early morning. old, worn yellowish bath towels, stained bed covers, bathroom floor uneven, dirty shower.

Rusty light fixtures in bathroom, hole in wall, room completely dark because all light bulbs burned out/missing. Desk begrudgingly gave one up. It made staying at a nice place all the better in comparison.

My wife noticed mold in the bathroom. The shower curtain was torn and water sprayed out. The upholstered chair appeared dirty and unsanitary. The drapes...

It was cheap enough to afford and the...

Can't beat the price - and the staff is great. Located a short walk from the beach - nice little Thai restaurant across the street. Great breakfast place called Lil Bits just up the street. Not fancy (or even all that new) but good solid place to stay. Noticed that they just put new windows in too...

My husband and I were in Grover Beach for the weekend helping his elderly parents and needed accommodations as their home is very small. When we tried to book a room at the Grove Beach Inn with a registered service dog we were told we could only book a room for smokers because of the dog. Neither my husband or...
