Our family took the Thanksgiving Special package with dinner included. The dinner was good but nothing special. The service team is very attentive and friendly. There is only 1 restaurant so all meals were at the same place for the 3 days that we were there. We wish there

This is the second time we’ve dined here. The food overall is pretty good but inconsistent. We ordered a bowl of mussels as we enjoyed them the first time we dined there the broth was completely different and just not as good. I ordered the steak which was cooked right but

Thank you for dining with us and sharing your feedback. We're expanding the menu for 2019, and we continue to make seasonal changes to our offerings, so you can look forward to more delicious options throughout the year. Also, keep in mind that we're more than happy to accomodate special requests. If you prefer a naked steak, next time just let your server know and we'll keep the sauce on the side. Cheers! Fabulous place to stay is at Rush Creek. Kids love it. Parents love it. The kids play area and kids activities are great. The play area for kids now has zip lines, a slide and lots of other games. Check in was easy and fast. The food is good, but the menu has been the same

Hello, this is Teri from Rush Creek Lodge jumping in to let you know that we’re delighted to hear that you had a fabulous stay, and we thank you for taking the time to share your review. You raise some good points which we are reviewing with our team, and we appreciate the opportunity to incorporate your feedback in our ongoing efforts to improve the overall guest experience at the Rush Creek. It's so unfortunate that we didn't communicate better while you were with us - we do have a variety of non-dairy alternatives available at the General Store, Restaurant and Tavern. We also should have done a better job pointing out the seasonal items rotating among the favorite mainstays on the menu. You'll be happy to know that Chef is currently working on expanding the variety of menu options for 2019. Here's hoping we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better experience in the near future, Teri and the Rush Creek team

We like to create a space where our guests can unplug and reconnect with nature, friends, and family. So with that in mind, you will not find a television in any of our Lodge Rooms or Villas, instead, you'll find boxes of games and books and a WiFi enabled Alexa for in-room entertainment.

Thanks for reaching out! We're excited to host you this coming October for your Honeymoon. Our One Bedroom Villas and Lodge Suites are a little different, so here's what you need to know about each room type. 1) One Bedroom Villas-- This room type is our hillside villas scattered throughout the property, we have some closer to main lodge amenities than other so be sure to request a closer unit when you book if that's what you like. A sitting area and pot belly gas stove are in the main bedroom with your king size bed, and you have a private patio with a table, chairs, and rocking chairs. This is the perfect room type for a guest that wants a little more privacy. 2) Lodge Suites-- This room type is on our Guest Lodge just a short walk from the other lodge amenities and reception. Each room has a sitting area with a pot belly gas stove that is separate from the bedroom area with a king size bed. And a private patio with rocking chairs, table, and chairs overlooking one of two views-- either the pool, with epic sunset views or the forest view for a quieter scenery. (If you have a preference be sure to request at booking.) This room type is perfect for a guest looking for more space. We hope this helps you in deciding what room type would be best for your stay!

Tours are great for guests looking to learn a bit more about the history, flora, and fauna of Yosemite National Park or try a more intense hike with the guidance of a trained professional. Our Recreation team offers a variety of sight-seeing or hiking tours, you can explore all the options on our website under the 'Explore Tab'. But likewise, our Recreation Team is available to all guests for free trip planning if you need directions, trail suggestions or would like to pick a Yosemite expert's brain a bit! You can either reach out to them prior to your visit or stop by the Recreation Desk upon your arrival.

The road from CA to NV is closed through winter but access to the park is open in the main areas

Yosemite dates of operation are on their website. Best to contact Rush Creek directly or look at their website for cancellation policies. I don’t think that’s something TripAdvisor would want to be on the hook for providing.
