We love staying at this hotel when we visit Yosemite. The room is comfortable and the restaurant next door has really good food. The only negative about this past visit was the closure of the 120 entrance into the park so we had to drive on 49/140 to enter.

Great one night stay here. Hiked all day in Yosemite. So nice to come back to a clean hotel. We were very lucky to get a last minute room here over Columbus Day weekend. No wifi as people have said. But we knew this and let all family know. Wifi is great at Yosemite so we took care of all...

Our family of 5 (5, 3 and 3 months) stayed at Yosemite Westgate Lodge in May 2017. The rooms were spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed for our family. The pool area was nice, there was also an added bonus of a playground and corn hole. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We stayed 2 nights in our trip to Yosemite. Clean room, comfortable bed, microwave and refrigerator. The office staff was very helpful in answering any questions and giving us maps. On the way to Yosemite you pass a great lookout in the Stanislaus National Forest. Take time to pull out for a great view. The hotel was quiet at night...

Great motel with updated rooms and strong wifi. Know that this is approximately 15 minutes from Groveland and 20 minutes or so from the entrance to Yosemite. Rooms are much nicer than what you would expect from a roadside hotel. Nice pool and jacuzzi that my sons enjoyed and a two minute walk to a good (albeit slow) breakfast at...

This is 12 miles outside or Yosemite but a savings in cost from staying in the park itself. It is neat and fairly newly renovated so rooms are comfie with good beds. There's a pool and the associated Buck Meadows Restaurant is surprisingly decent, which is important considering there are few eating options.

The hotel is good, the staff is nice and everything was ok. The room is large and suitable for a baby. The restaurant is 2 min walk and it has some nice cooked food. The morning breakfast takes a bit longer after you order but it is ok. It is a great place to go around the area and not...

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was clean..everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the beautiful pool and spa after a day of hiking. It's nice they have a frig and microwave in the room. The hotels location is beautiful. I love seeing wild life and from my balcony I saw dear grazing. Plenty of parking and the hotel is quite....

We picked this location as it appeared to be close to the Yosemite National Park. As we got closer to our visit to Yosemite; we discovered a major road was closed and we had a long detour in order to get to the lodge. It would have been professional for the Lodge to let us know that. Also, once you...

Janet: I wanted to apologize that you did not get forewarning that the highway into The Valley was closed during your stay. We had very bad weather in the past weeks which washed out The Big Oak Flat Road access into Yosemite Valley. We had sent out an email to all guests coming in during this time and perhaps you...

Although furnitures and facilities are quite old I have to say our stay was perfect. Rooms are clean and spacious, wi-fi fast and reliable, staff friendly and ready to help. Bed are confortable, the shower needs improvement instead. There is a coin laundry if you need. Overall recommended but the check-in after 4pm definitely needs to be changed to an...

Rob: Thanks for staying with us at The Westgate and for your honest review. Not sure about your complaint about the furnishings and building being old as our property is well maintained and fairly newly remodeled. In any respect, we appreciate your review. Unfortunately, we have a check in time of 4 PM because our hotel runs very busy and...
