Welcome to luxury in the forest at your home away from home. The Blackberry Inn Bed and Breakfast is a romantic country farmhouse on 36 acres, surrounded by National Forest, with a wraparound porch and hundreds of hummingbirds that visit daily. We offer free breakfast and WiFi. All rooms are uniquely decorated with 600+ thread count sheets, fluffy towels and have showers and bathtubs en-suite.
Beautiful, scenic property with delightfully gracious hosts, perfectly located for Yosemite Park access
Having just returned from long days of hiking and sightseeing in Yosemite Park, we were eager to return to our beautifully appointed room at the Blackberry Inn for a refreshing shower fed by the artesian springs that supply the Inn with abundant water. Our room was impeccably clean, quiet, and comfortable. Outside our room a beautiful terrace was furnished with rocking chairs to relax and enjoy panoramic views of the the surrounding countryside. Each morning, we were treated to a beautifully prepared hot breakfast served on the terrace. All COVID precautions were meticulously observed by hosts, staff, and other guests.
We’re happy that our inn met your expectations for cleanliness and safety. Yes, a nice hot shower or bath is a wonderful experience after long energy draining hikes in beautiful Yosemite. There’s nothing like a magnesium soak to relieve tired, soar and aching muscles. Thank you for your generous review and we hope to see you again.

Steve and Alex run an amazing B&B in Yosemite. It is only 20 mins outside of the west entrance of the park and provides a comfortable stay in a secluded location. Steve served us the most delicious freshly made breakfast every morning, and in the evenings we received freshly baked, warm chocolate chip cookies. You can tell that Steve and Alex have put in a lot of effort into providing a wonderful experience for their guests. Each room has it's own unique decor, and the B&B is surrounded by nature. We saw wild turkey and deer during our stay, and they also raise horses on their property. Steve and Alex were such friendly and welcoming hosts, and we definitely recommend this cozy B&B to anyone thinking of staying here.
We loved our stay at Blackberry Inn! The property is quiet, beautiful and very clean. We also found the inn location especially convenient to visit Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite (1.5 hr drive) versus staying closer to Mariposa (2 hr drive).
The innkeepers, Steve and Alex, were the definition of hospitality - they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, including providing updates of the developing wildfire situation, recommending a great nearby spa and hiking trail tips! Breakfast was always DELICIOUS. We also enjoyed their huge soaker tubs (they provide Epsom salts!) which was so helpful for hiking recovery. Highly recommend!!

Our stay at the Blackberry Inn Bed and Breakfast was great. The Inn is beautiful and quaint. The furnishings are all beautiful antiques but the facility is up to date. Steve and Alex were wonderful hosts. Every morning we were greeted with a delicious and healthy breakfast. We were only one hour from Yosemite Valley. The Inn is just off the main road into the park but still a quiet area. No traffic noises. I highly recommend the Blackberry Inn to anyone who wants beautiful, comfortable accommodations, close to Yosemite but a world away.

We found the BlackBerry Inn to be comfortable, cozy, and very clean. The staff were very friendly and really made our stay enjoyable. Our room was well appointed which made for a nice experience and the daily breakfast delivered to our room was very special. The Inn is close to the west entrance of Yosimite and close to several nearby restaurants as well.

This was our first time visiting Yosemite National Park - We decided to go with Blackberry Inn due to the many 5* reviews on Google and Trip Advisor. Due to travelling from LA, we arrived past check in time. Steve and Alex (owners) had emailed us with instructions on what would now happen. They had written a lovely welcome letter, left the keys in an accessible location. The following morning, Steve greeted us with breakfast. He provided excellent knowledge and guidance on what were the best things to do in the park, how to get there and the best times to go to avoid the weekend chaos. BlackBerry Inn is situated in a perfect location, just outside the entrance to Yosemite and around an hours drive to get to the valley. We found this was perfect as it avoided the hustle and bustle that you will find in the park and means you can take in the beautiful surroundings in a peaceful setting. BlackBerry Inn looks brand new. The room was amazing, very spacious, clean and with lovely decor. Breakfast was different each day, and cooked to perfection - Served with orange juice and coffee. Each day fresh cookies were replenished in the room free of charge. We can’t recommend BlackBerry Inn, Steve, Alex and The Team enough! This was a perfect trip, made so much easier as we didn’t have to worry about anything while staying there. Thank you, Dan & Heather…

Charming, picturesque and welcoming. There was nothing we did not like about Blackberry Inn. Breakfast each day was homemade and delicious delivered to our door. We ate outside on the deck enjoying the sunrise and watching wild Turkeys pick their way through the garden. Easy access to Yosemite national park with beautiful drive along the way. Steve the host is a great personable guy and came by each morning for a quick chat with lots of good advice on what sites to see and planning our day trips. The room, scenario, location and general ambiance was perfect and my wife has instructed me to bring her back there for a second visit!!

We stayed for 3 nights and we could not have been more pleased. Stephen was an excellent host. His home was quite beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. We had fresh homemade cookies waiting for us every afternoon. The breakfasts that Stephen made for us every morning were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend staying at the Blackberry Inn.

We had the great pleasure to stay here during our road trip and it was amazing !!! Just from before the arrival THE HOST Steven proved to be so attentive and accommodating, he left a letter with kind instructions to self check in since we got in very late at the evening. Early morning we were delighted by a stunning view around us, a delicious breakfast and our lovely host, Steven, who was so gentle to welcome us with chatting and good tips, suggested us some trekking routes and much more. His house is lovely, excellent cleaning and full of detailed decoration. He haves us delicious cookies and added a personal touch to our daily meal. In a word this THE PLACE and he’s THE HOST. Grazie Steven ! Hope to see you in Italy 😘

So happy we found this place. Such a lovely experience from the booking to the stay. Steve you are an absolute sweetheart and so attentive. The staff was wonderful and kind. We stayed in the Cloud's Rest room and it was so peaceful and felt like home. Enjoyed delicious hot breakfast every morning on our private deck with stunning morning sun views on the beautiful trees. Steve is so knowledgeable of the area and recommended such stunning drive for us to enjoy on our last day. Will absolutely be returning to this gem of an Inn. Thank you for the cookies Steve!!!

My wife and I were there for three nights with another couple. Very comfortable, good sized rooms with all the amenities. Beautiful grounds (36 acres), quiet environment, easy access off Hwy 120. Host Steve and his staff did everything possible to make us feel at home and provided everything we asked for. Delicious daily breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Plenty of parking, and easy access to individual rooms on 3 levels. Steve is very knowledgeable and can make recommendations for side trips or assistance you may need to make your time in the Yosemite National Park and surrounding areas most enjoyable. Highly recommend Blackberry Inn.

Lovely stay at The Blackberry Inn! The property is beautiful, the rooms well-appointed and comfortable, and the inn keepers, Steve and Alex, are excellent. Steve took the time to speak with us every morning, and was kind enough to give us suggestions on things to see while we were in the park and beyond. The breakfasts were always VERY good, and we even had chocolate chip cookies waiting when we returned from the park each day. We also ordered lunch to-go one day (ordered the night before). Everything was nicely packed in a lunch cooler complete with cold packs. Everything we could need during our stay was provided. We would definitely recommend The Blackberry Inn to anyone visiting the Yosemite area. You will be glad you chose to stay there. Thank you again, Steve and Alex!
