We traveled as a family of 3, 2 adults and 1 teenager. We booked the El Capitan which is the largest room. Stephen was very accommodating to offer us a blow up mattress in addition to the king bed in the room so our teenage niece traveling with us could share our room. The room, and really the entire property were gorgeous. Beautiful decor, very clean, antique design, with very well kept furniture and decor. In addition to a comfortable stay, the staff was so kind. Would 10/10 recommend! The location is remote but close enough to a Yosemite entrance. Stephen gave us many great recommendations of things to see and do close by. We took his advice and hiked Carlin Falls which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Breakfast was good and we opted to take advantage of their offered packed lunches. The El Capitan room includes a beautiful wrapped porch with a private section for the occupants use. We opted to have our breakfast served out there and it was wonderful. At night we sat on the porch enjoying the cool evening breeze and star gazing. This room comes with an AMAZING tub. Bubbles and bath salts were provided, but if you’re like me and are particular about your soaks bring your favorites from home. We didn’t hear our neighbors the entire stay though the ‘resort’ was at full capacity. It was nice, it felt private and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Blackberry Inn for 2 nights while visiting Yosemite. What a special place! The grounds and rooms were immaculate with attention to every detail. We stayed in the Half Dome which was beautifully decorated including a perfectly set table with 4 delicious homemade chocolate cookies. There was a fireplace, sitting area, comfy bed, small fridge and kettle, and beautiful bathroom. Everything was updated. The French doors looked out to the porch with private table. Coffee was delivered to the room 1st thing in the morning followed by fresh fruit the a delicious breakfast. We ate inside but if warmer we would have been able to dine on patio. After spending the day at Yosemite park we returned to new table setting with those chocolate chip cookies! The ride to Yosemite’s main village is about 45 minutes but a pleasant easy drive. There is an entrance about 10 minutes away where we were able to see the redwoods and take a beautiful hike. Dinner places are limited but very good. The owners were available for any assistance. We would absolutely recommend this delightful Inn and would love to return one day!

This place is a gem! The facility is attractive and well-maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We left before the official 8:00 AM breakfast most days, and Steve accommodated us with an early yogurt and granola breakfast that worked perfectly. He also packed a lunch when we needed one to take on our hikes. The location is also very good, just a short drive outside the Big Oak Flat entrance gate. This was an unusual year with Covid-19 restrictions in place at Yosemite. The good news, was the crowds were small and the trails mostly empty - especially early in the morning. Steve and his team made every effort to provide a safe environment given the unusual circumstances. We look forward to returning!

Having just returned from long days of hiking and sightseeing in Yosemite Park, we were eager to return to our beautifully appointed room at the Blackberry Inn for a refreshing shower fed by the artesian springs that supply the Inn with abundant water. Our room was impeccably clean, quiet, and comfortable. Outside our room a beautiful terrace was furnished with rocking chairs to relax and enjoy panoramic views of the the surrounding countryside. Each morning, we were treated to a beautifully prepared hot breakfast served on the terrace. All COVID precautions were meticulously observed by hosts, staff, and other guests.

We’re happy that our inn met your expectations for cleanliness and safety. Yes, a nice hot shower or bath is a wonderful experience after long energy draining hikes in beautiful Yosemite. There’s nothing like a magnesium soak to relieve tired, soar and aching muscles. Thank you for your generous review and we hope to see you again.

What a blessing to find this most romantic spot just 5 hours outside of LA or an easy flight into San Fran with a 3 hour drive. We decided to take the beautiful scenic route to this super charming Bed and Breakfast ran by the sweetest people ever. Alexandra and Steve, how do we begin to thank you and express gratitude. You allowed us into your home, beautifully decorated with a plenty of a little country, antiques and European flair. Greeting us every morning with a smile and delicious food. Being a chef and having travelled the world this was truly a unique experience and we loved it! This couple made sure all our tours and reservations for dinner were truly catered to who we are as travelers. Such attention to detail. I feel that Alexandra knows me better than my husband after 10 years. She nailed every detail down to finding us a local expert masseuse to come and give us massages at the INN. Our tour through the park which was private and perfect. And for taking the time to take us through to see parts we wouldn’t see on the tours. First time to Yosemite and this will be an option every year... we loved it! Best sleep in months and absolutely adhering to Covid rules and social distancing. No kids under 13 Only 10 rooms all decorated different. We stayed at the El Capitan of course. The best! No TV but good WiFi if you must Jacuzzi tubs to unwind Freshly baked cookies daily No room service ( it’s a B&B) love and appreciate your surroundings Close to everything including the park entry. Easy to get to if you FOLLOW EXACTLY THE DIRECTIONS THE OWNERS GIVE YOU! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE GPS OR ANY OTHER ON LINE MAP QUEST you’ll be sorry if you don’t listen. Thank you 🙏🏻 Contact INN for tours etc. they will handle it. Looking for a pool and tennis courts. This is not that place. It’s even better! Trust me! Make it your spot. You’ll thank me! Enjoy

We are so happy that you enjoyed your first trip to Yosemite and chose the Blackberry Inn at Yosemite for your romantic getaway. Engaging with our guests on a personal level to tailor their travel experience to meet their expectations is our goal. The mountain roads in the Sierras can be challenging especially at night and you both handled it well with humor and grace. Hopefully the good nights sleep helped refresh you. Thank you for understanding the current laws restricting us from the daily room service we are known for, during this time of COVID. We look forward to pampering you in the future.
