We had a relaxed get-together with family friends with young children. The tents were onlooking the stream and had iron cots and bedding.. we carried blankets and pillows. The package had all 3 meals included. Kids enjoyed playing in in the stream, archery, ping-pong and basketball. We visited the nearby rainbow waterfall where kids seem in the stream..

This is overall an amazing camp. Since I am a local, there is no need for me to stay here, but I am going to purchase a weekend for my son, daughter-in-law, and my grandkids. The cost per night is all-inclusive (per person) with food, so no one has to cook or clean up. They have lots of fun programs...

This camp has everything a family needs: arts & crafts, organized and staffed activities, fishing and archery lessons, campfires (with songs and s'mores), night and nature hikes, pool activities, and wildlife shows. The kids are active from sunup to sundown, and past. The army tents are raised on wood platforms, and some have recently been replaced, as well as some...

My family and I really enjoyed San Jose Family Camp. We enjoyed all of the great activities including making friendship bracelets and lanyards. My 8 year old daughter especially liked the kids archery, log rolling and animal ambassadors. The camp director, Jena, brought live animals to the amphitheater! We also floated down the river in a raft in the evening...

Recently returned from six days at camp with husband and children (ages 3&6). We all had a great time. Every meal is provided, plus plenty of activities for all ages, so it was one of the first vacations I've been on since becoming a Mom where I could just relax and enjoy the kids. Pros: - Great staff! Maintenance, recreation...

Just got back from a camp out with the YMCA family camp on Memorial Day weekend. It was an awesome experience. The kids had a great time and it was first time my wife got to experience an Adventure Guides camp out. I do this at least 4 times a year with my daughter and my son. But, it was...

Last year was my fifth visit to San Jose Family Camp. As the previous years I went with my 3 kids, ages 11, 14 and 17, my brother and his son, age 12, and my mother. And as the previous years we had a fantastic time. Regardless of all the exciting vacations we have gone to, Israel, Mexico, Hawaii, etc.,...

This is a great, inexpensive family camp if you love the outdoors and being close to water. They have scheduled activities for all ages. Activities include and are not limited to swimming, fishing (they even cook the fish for you!), hiking, archery, campfires, bingo, casino night, dancing etc.. They have a part of the river sectioned off as swimming pool,...
