It is one of the nearest lodging places near Yosemite Valley (but not inside). about 30min drive. Many RV and campers and every day when you are back you see campfire and friends and family sitting around, grabbing a beer and chit chat. I loved the environment. The cabin is sufficient for daily use, despite the shower room is tiny,... More

We stayed in a Hillside campsite for 4 nights, which are first come, first served. The first night we arrived after dark so took the first site we came across. The next day we ended up moving our tent across to a larger site. Some sites are small, which didn't work for our 8 person tent, but we were happy... More

We stayed at this location in July. When arriving at Yosemite Lakes (very late at night, after a long day of vehicle troubles), we were greeted with very friendly staff who not only tried to make our day end on a brighter note, they went above and beyond. Tom was very accommodating, and even waived our fee's. Being that we... More

We stayed here at a tent site for one night. Pros - the location is good - close to Yosemite national park. Most tent sites are level, and have fire pit & picnic table. They have quiet hours and other amenities that other campgrounds don't have (such as a game room, mini golf, laundry facilities, etc). You need a "code"... More

We stayed in a yurt at Yosemite Lakes. Slept 6 in beds. It was AWESOME. Extraordinarily clean and well appointed. Full bath and kitchen, plus gas grill and a fire pit. Air conditioning and heat as well. More like a hotel than a campground, but with all the quiet and fell of being in the wilderness. Only 5 miles from... More

We stayed in a family Yurt, it was comfortable inside with a full kitchen and cooking facilities.the park is close to Yosemite for easy entry. We were able to buy essentials and gas at the little shop onsite. The kids loved making a little fire each night.it is peaceful and quiet and really beautiful except for quite a bit of... More

I always enjoy myself when I visit Yosemite Lakes. On my last visit in April 2016, it was raining cats and dogs, so the resort staff offered me the option of camping under the amphitheater. I took them up on the offer. But that means I missed out on Ponderosa :( This is their main tent camping area - once... More

A memorable place to stay! The family comes to Yosemite Lakes twice a year and it is always up to expectations and then some. Last week while there, my daughter locked the rv keys in the rv and with the assistance of Levy and George (staff) they were able to get it open! Above and beyond!!! Thank them for me!... More

Eleven year Thousand Trails members and we had avoided this campground, always assuming it would be crowded. We took our chance during the busy summer month of June and were not disappointed. Certainly river sites are most desirable, crowded and close together, but there are plenty of other sites to choose from and I was impressed they are all full... More

This one is unique..unless you are a Thousand Trails member, you get to pick your spot in the public area. The public area is not as shady and covered in trees as the private section. So that was a bit of a bummer... The positive is, every spot has full hookups. They have a nice laundry facility, and a lodge.... More
