Comfortable room with wifi, breakfast, and parking. We really wanted to eat at their restaurant and go straight to our room, but the restaurant is only open certain days ( maybe Wednesday or Thurs through Saturday). Groveland is a cute town in the Yosemite area. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Homemade muffins were a plus at breakfast.

We chose this hotel due to its old west, antique feel. The staff was great, very helpful. The hotel restaurant was not open the night we were their but they gave us a very good recommendation. Rooms were clean, bed very nice, antique style bath. Be prepared-no elevator so must carry luggage up long narrow stair way.

I loved the service, the place itself it's very accommodating. We stayed at one of their condos, like two miles away from the actual hotel, and loved the privacy and the convenience. Will definitely visit again for our next visit.

My husband and I had a fan-tastic vacation and stay at the Charlotte. You and your staff were all wonderful and I will heartily recommend you to all our friends and family. The restaurant attached to the Hotel: Fork and Love had the best food we encountered on our trip to Yosemite and Disneyland this year. If you ever get...

Olde worlde hotel that we found very enjoyable and convenient for visiting Yosemite. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Pleasant surroundings. Free parking at back. Our room no. 1 very quiet except for a noisy and probably drunk conversation on the back steps at 11:45 pm.

Stayed in Room 1 quiet overlooking car park. Large, clean spacious room with ensuite shower. Very comfortable. Help yourself breakfast. Kind friendly staff. A good stopover not far from Yosemite & would recommend to stay here.

We didn't stay at the hotel but one of the condos that they rent about 2 miles away. It had a ton of stairs. If one was with little kids or older, this would not be the place to stay. It was nice with all the room we had. We had a full size kitchen and washer and dryer. One...

We stayed here for one night before driving into Yosemite. On arrival it was suggested what to see and where to go in Yosemite which was a great help. Lovely little room in a quirky little town. We ate in the hotel restaurant that evening and it was amazing! We then ventured out after dinner to the saloon opposite -...

The Hotel is like a bed and breakfast / hotel combo. The room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep here as each unit had a well working heat/air-conditioning unit that worked really well. After spending many days on the road, a good nights sleep was appreciated. The town itself doesn't have a ton of dinner options, but...

Come experience a wonderful escape at the Hotel Charlotte, located at the gateway to Yosemite. Enjoy the rustic quirks of a charming, historic boutique hotel coupled with a wonderfully inviting ambiance and stellar service that will leave you wanting more.At the Hotel Charlotte, you'll be welcomed by friendly, knowledgable staff who will help you settle in to one of our 10 hotel rooms or 6 guest houses. Whether you want to experience the natural wonders of the surrounding area and Yosemite, have a romantic getaway, or enjoy a stay in an authentic old west hotel, you will find what you are looking for at the Hotel Charlotte. The owners, Doug and Jenn Edwards, wanted to retain the gold rush feel of the hotel while at the same time modernizing and simplifying. The sage green walls, the throwback Edison lightbulbs, the oversized, brown velvet sofas - invite guests to step into a contemporary old west. The look of the hotel also carries into the adjoining restaurant, the Charlotte Bistro & Bar.
