Staff very friendly. Very clean. Staying here felt like staying wit relatives very warm feeling about the place. It was like stepping back in time into the old west. Not too far from Yosemite. And a bonus we found Waldo.

While I will likely look for other accommodations on the next trip to this area, I found the Hotel Charlotte to be comfortable and quiet for a restful nights sleep. There are no "extras" here; it is very basic. That said, I felt this establishment was over-priced.

We stayed 3 nights here while visiting Yosemite. It is the perfect place to stay while visiting the park! This historical hotel is quaint and beautiful. The owners have done an amazing job. I highly recommend room 14- end of the hall upstairs- quiet, amazingly comfortable bed, and overall room. This hotel was spotlessly clean, and observed all COVID measures. We loved chatting with Brennen, the owner, who has definitely persevered through this challenging time of small business ownership! Our only regret was to not be able to eat at the restaurant here , they are opening back up in a few weeks and it sounds amazing. The Mexican restaurant next door is great; Two Guys Pizza is great; and Around the Horn brewery also great! We shopped for groceries at the grocery store in town and it had everything we needed. Groveland was 5 stars all around and I can’t wait to come back!!

We stayed for a night after backpacking in Yosemite. The rain shower in the big jacuzzi tub was a great way to remove all the trail grime. The hosts are very friendly folks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Charlotte!

Finn and Brennan are amazing hosts who make you feel like family. They had just finished putting in an outdoor seating area that included cushioned bench seats, bar tables and chairs with tower heaters and romantic lighting. There is also a cute balcony on the second floor that we spent each morning watching the town come to life. There are great views off this balcony. Many games and puzzles are available for guests. Amazing location in the heart of town. Don't miss out on the Mexican food next door that is delicious! We spent three quiet nights at this little gem. We will definitely return.
